So I've been told that each of the Aspects Whisperings have their own kind of musical theme that you hear when tap into your Aspect in-depth. For example, Law Players say they hear the Batman theme whenever do something major with their abilities, Rage Players hardcore Scandinavian death metal, Time Players, dance club DJ beats and Rain Players, Bjork. (That last one I made up) Anyhow, can you fella's tell me what the hell the other Whisperings sound like.

I don't know if it's because the fact that I went deaf part-way through my session, or if it's just how the Beat sounds when I'm doing stuff, but I've always heard it as more of a bass-line than anything. Part of the song - the backbone, even - but not the song itself, you know?

Well... hmm. Many people hear or feel their Whisperings differently. The World feels like a warm embrace and sounds like Frogs and drums. I am sure that Whispering of Space is a feminine entity.
The Beat on the other hand manifested for me as endless ticking, like a bomb was buried somewhere in my brain. he slowed down when I was in Skaian Summoning, and went faster when I was using Time powers.
The Shine is more quiet, but also more vibrant. I hear it as single strings of harp, echoing and shimmering in the air. The brighter the area, the louder it is, and it is the loudest in Homefree.

Unlike most Whisperings, the Voices actually use words. Most of the time they sound like a thousand different voices all speaking at the same time, which is pretty incomprehensible. They form a continuous background noise from the moment I enter a session as a Rain Aspect until the moment I leave it. Used to be pretty distracting until I learned how to deal with it.
They're all saying something though, so if you listen carefully and learn to pick out individual voices in the din you can occasionally learn something interesting. Not always relevant, since the voices will babble on about just about anything, but interesting none the less. Can be anything from the latest Dersite court gossip to a lecture on particle physics copied from a world you've never visited. It's a lot easier to do when you're a Seer or Sage, since it's technically one of Rain's scrying methods.
You also get to know the different personalities of the individual voices after a while - they're all mad, and sometimes they change for now real reason, but each voice does have it's own personality. For example, the one that sounds like moonlight on water (synaesthesia yo!) is fairly relaxed and enjoys places of natural beauty (listen to her to figure out where Skaian Summonings are, along with a few other places of interest), while the one that sounds like nails on a chalkboard is extremely manic, existing permanently on the far edge of paranoia at all times (keeping on ear open for him can sometimes give you a heads up on ambushes and surprise attacks, plus he'll sometimes spot things you miss). The one that sounds like a descending boot is just an arsehole though.
Sometimes though, they all say the same thing at once. Kind of intimidating to hear them all speak the same words, since it usually means that whatever they have to say is pretty important. There's usually a couple of voices saying something different if you listen really carefully, and they'll usually have some extra details to give you. Which is helpful.
They do sing sometimes, but it's somewhat rare, and they don't always sing the same thing as each other. Usually ends up as just more discordant noise.
I don't really think I could properly explain the way the Voices feel though. I've never encountered a language that had the right words to get across what pure madness actually feels like.
Other Whisperings are less vocal. The Strife feels... well, not angry exactly, but aggressive and antisocial, like it's always ready to get into an argument and it's got something to prove by doing so. Sounds like an decent orchestral piece though.

Well to me at least, I don't know if it's the same for all "Life" players, but "The Growth" sounds and looks like "Aerith's Theme". I feel safe, like someone's got my back and encouraging me to go try new things, like an old friend you haven't seen in a while. I think to some degree that's how all the "Whisperings" are maybe since they do help out players.

the Orcestra is... loud. once i realized that was the sound in my head, they actually began to play. it's like people constantly telling you what to do, or say. they know what they are doing, they want to help. they are my ears, and with them playing their songs, i know when people are sneaking up on me. unlike what ED described, they are never discordant, when they speak they speak one at a time, but just like what he described, they do use words. along with some nice musical scores. my whisperings quite literally taught me what music sounds like...

I get ticking. Or maybe it's a metronome? I dunno. But a steady 'tck' noise, either way. It's comforting, actually; gives me something to pace myself with.
But it tends to get drowned out by the bass beat of "we are doing things now!" when I, y'know. Do stuff.

I got a pretty mopey version of the Night- it was sad and basically useless in the usual areas, and I learned most of my Law from these starry whispering puzzles which were kinda different. I also get Zero's instance of the Break, who are pretty intense dudes- I think there was a subtext to their screaming that I missed, since I've pretty much got the big destructive break abilities instead of any lying stuff, whereas Zero's pulling Sandy tricks all the time- I think. Y'know, Sand player for real, hard to tell.

Yeah, the World definitely is feminine. Although, because of the Bane thing, probably more aggressive than yours, GA. The Shade, like the Blight that I just finished with, is so quiet and still it's hard to feel or hear most of the time. Unlike the Groove, which is GOGOGOGOGO all the time. It's easy to lose yourself in it and just never stop. Good thing that's kind of what you're supposed to do.

The Null isn't a n , it's more e the absence of noise in a very y world. You've g to listen in between the background e to f peaceful quiet. "Absolutely fucking nothing" is a blessing in a w where "something" is u trouble.

I have had trouble hearing my whisperings most of the time, because I usually hear... different background noise trying to catch my attention, unless I'm in the veil or something. But the Laughtrack is... lively? It doesn't talk much, but it does react, and loudly, and instantly.
It... cheers me on. When I'm doing well. And sympathises when I don't. It's very kind, if a-- a little unsetting, because it feels a bit like there are some people looking right at you all the time, watching you. Even though it's benign, it's... it's just weird.
... Sometimes they hum along when they like what I sing, though. And harmonize. It's beautiful.

Dream player here (first session). Depending on my performance The Grid can vary in tone from occasional positive reinforcement to what could charitably be called constructive criticism but really amounts something remarkably less helpful. I find it's worst (and loudest) when I try to sleep, especially if it's at a time The Grid doesn't deem "appropriate", which would be great if I enjoyed not sleeping and being listless and irritable constantly.
When they're any kind of musical it kind of reminds me of Kaada in a weird way, although that might just be a personal thing.

In my double time-player shenanigans session though it was like two metronomes were moving at different tempos, though one was definitely louder. Usually when it's trying to bring my attention to something though a base line will start up kind of like a song is wanting to kick in and it gets louder with more instruments/beats/ whatever added in the closer I get to whatever it is the Beat is wanting me to do or notice.

The Faith sounds like choir music mixed with rock. It's not really that consistent, as it becomes louder and faster paced when Fate is trying to urge you to do something. But most of the time, it's pretty cheerful and relaxing- it just wants you to go with the flow.
