The cookie is delicious! "Well, you see, we don't have cheshire cats or march hares. We have Officer Tock and Mother When! Ther are jabberwocks though. Those are a big problem on the roofs." She seems to be eyeing you oddly.
"My dear, you have such lovely skin! I've simply forgotten how delightful the skin of a child looks! Would you like to see the inside of my house?"

I shake my head and try not to let my curiosity show. Jabberwocks on roofs? "I'm not supposed to go into strange houses, Dad said. We can talk out here though?"

"Oh if you insist deary. I'll sinply need to gather my supplies out here..." suddenly, that scarf she's knitting looks a lot tanner... And are those... Freckles?
"I'll only need a little bit, it will be perfect for my scarf!"
It seems you've run into a Fleshknitter!
Pain is 4!
(Now we get to the combat! Basically, you need to find a dice program of some kind. You start off with three discipline dice. Pain 4 means I roll 4 dice. Obviously, you can't beat me with four dice. You'll need to either add an Exhaustion dice, or a Madness dice at most. Do it like this.
Discipline (3d6): Num1, Num2, Num3
Do the same with any dice you add, like, for example...
Madness (1d6): Num1.
Also, we only use d6s in this entire thing.
You can add up to 6 madness die and one exhaustion, but it's not reccomended. This is an easy challenge.)

Madness: (2d6): 5, 4]
I kick her in the shins. A lot.
((Clearly I am good at combat directions. Welp.))

[Pain: 1,2,2,2]
Two successes, pain dominates.
She picks you up from your position on the ground and pulls out a skinning knife. "Now dear, this will only hurt a moment." And then she starts cutting off part of your skin oh god it hurts.
She puts you back down after removing some skin from your arm. She's lost in her knitting now. At least she's leaving you alone.
Add 1 exhaustion to your dice pool from now on.

I screech at the pain and scurry off, clutching my arm. Suddenly all I want to do is go home where people don't knit with skin, so I start looking for a way back to my room.
I also try to do something about my arm while I'm at it.
[Discipline (3d6): 1, 1, 1
Madness (2d6): 6, 6 ]

Pain 4 (6,3,5,4) Three successes, Discipline dominates.
(Now, you can narrate what happens. Also, discipline dominating allows you to remove 1 exhaustion or uncheck one Response.)

The skin on my arm slowly starts growing back, closing over the wound completely as I get further from the fleshknitter's house. I backtrack to where I think I started out, hoping I can get home from there.

You wander Wonderland. All around you see strange and mistifying creatures. At one point, you could almost swear you saw Frankenstein's Monster watching from a rooftop. Heck, in the city, you saw a police officer with a clock for a head chasing some boys made of newspaper! Eventually, you find where you started, but then you find someone guarding it... It's The Bad Man!
"Hel-lo little girl!" he says, in his high-pitched voice. "Fancy seeing you here! Do you want to go home? Well of course you do. But you can't. Now I'm gonna kill you!"
You're now facing down The Bad Man! (Pain 8)

Pain: 6,2,1,2,2,5,3,3
5 Successes, Pain dominates.
The Bad Man strides over to you. You're paralyzed with fear, and you barely let out a squeak as he picks you up. "I waaaarned you not to go in there. But you did. You're a naughty little girl, aren't you? You deserve to be punished. But why? Why do you deserve it?"
You know why. You know full well. The reason you deserve it is...

Because I got in a fight with a classmate and stabbed him in the hand with a pencil. He had to go to the hospital to have it removed.
I flail and kick about and try to make the Bad Man drop me.

"Yes. You stabbed the child. Even though he was simply trying to be your friend."
It all comes back to you now. The boy trying to play with you, you ignoring him... Eventually, he started shoving you. You stabbed him. That's why everyone thinks you're a weirdo.
"I'm not going to let you go just yet. I want to know one thing."
"Are you sorry?"

I nod rapidly. There's only really one right answer to a question like that, but I really hadn't meant to hurt him that badly. "Yes I am."

The Bad Man thinks for a moment. He laughs and laughs and laughs. He drops you, and as he laughs, he seems to get smaller all the time, until he's shrunken into nothing.
The door is wide open and The Bad Man is gone for good. Will you re-enter your room?
