I've modified my post with the new subplot. Trigger warning for homophobia from the new character.

Suddenly, Kankri. (joking)
I just realized now that I've posted that I've made Don's instrument a sequencer, which just so happens to be a certain canon Time player's instrument.
This was completely unintentional, I swear.

Oh glub, IF. I think you got the wrong idea. There was no consummating whatsoever in Elsa's Dream Tower. Elsa was just freaking other the fact that she woke up on Prospit while the female Player she replaced was still sleeping in the same Dream Bed.
So, yeah they slept together in the sense that they were in the same bed. To be far Elsa does have some issues when it comes to her sexuality, but that's more back-story then anything, and I don't plan on her making out with the Dream Self she found. Just playing up on some awkward humor on account of the fact that replaced player (Izzy) looks likes Elsa's old sorta girlfriend.
This site is rated T for Teenager after all, and I'm perfectly willing to keep Elsa's yuri filled past as a tame as possible. In fact, if anyone here has problem with this, then please speak up. I could totally cut it out of the story if needed.

Eh, I'd say as a general rule of thumb to keep it Homestuck-level. I mean, there's already the Rose/Kanaya item, Dirk's "porn" art, and of course Dave's particularly vivid euphemisms, so I'm MODERATELY sure we all know what sex is, but still. Do whatever you feel is appropriate; I trust you to not cross any lines there.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, SF! I don't plan on any sexy times anyway, just some angsty teen drama.

GS (got the RIGHT initials this time!), you can feel free to have the two of them explore the city to find survivors- Ness'll be right beside Ben. We'll find the Consorts in a skyscraper in the centre of the city, at which point stuff will happen.

All right TG, I hope that post works for you. I decided to leave the inside of the tower's description up to you. It is your land after all. So if you don't mind me asking, what exactly are we up against. If you don't mind me asking that is. If you want to leave it a mystery for Ben, and for me myself, feel free.

Be sure to tell me if I'm taking the bounds of what the corrupted dreamselves should be doing too far.

Yeah, goes double for me In any case, what Dream Jeremy is doing now is trapping Jeremefist and summoning some giant, fairly-generic monsters using an amped-up high level Dream ability called [ Dreamers and the Dead].

One of the things that I've still been a bit iffy on is the Dreamselves problem. It's not the problem itself that bothers me, but rather what it implies is going to happen. At this rate, we have a few dreamselves that are corrupted or are going to be corrupt, and a good few of them are already hostile. The problem that arises here is that these characters are obviously more powerful than our current ones, and already want the current players dead. Story-wise, it would take an obscenely large amount of acrid plot twists to have our characters be able to stand up to a couple of corrupted players, so I'm racking my brain for a way to push off the problem until our current characters are powerful enough to deal with it. So far Jana's Sprite's dreamself is threatening to kill Elsa's dreamself and her new BFF, which makes sense for the character, but we obviously don't want our dear heroes to all get slaughtered early on, now do we?
Does anyone have any ideas for how the problem can be pushed off? So far the only ideas I have are either for Future-Don to do some timey-wimey things to make the problem happen later (I'm not fond of that idea), making a deal with the White Queen or similarly-powerful entity to fight and/or hold off the hostile dreamselves until further notice (once again, not very fond of the idea), or something else entirely. Let's plan this out so there isn't any unpleasant hand-waving in the future. Please write your responses in a Word document (500 words minimum) and submit them to the dropbox before 11:59 tonight for full credit.
Or you can, you know, post them here. That works too.

Well I think possible solutions depend on the motives of the Dreamselves. Jeremy has already admitted to being a herald of the Horrorterrors or something like that. We don't know what Izzy wants. If we can establish some kind of common motive, or hierarchy among the corrupt dreamselves, or what the heck is driving them to go rogue in the first place... Then we can come up with a good 'plan of attack' for the hostile Dreamselves that will dissuade them from trying to immediately kill the players because they have to 'prepare the Session' or something like that.
For example, Will is just acting on instinct right now, but I can easily retcon his actions to being part of a master plan where he just has to scare Elsa into submission or drive her into doing something that fits into the master plan or something. We just need that plan to exist.

Well there are a few ways I can see this working out. Right now Ness' Sprite's Dreamself (or Nega Jeremy) has made a deal, with both Ness and Ben. Win the game and go free. Lose the game and die. I like this particular idea, as it shows that while he may still be corrupted, some part of Jeremy is still there, the part of him that likes to play games. As far as Jana's Sprite's Dreamself, I have no idea what IF has planned for that. So let's look at the players as a whole. It seems that most of the players who really want to kill us are all corrupted. The Dreamself's of the sprites belonging to TG, SF, and IF. All corrupted (or in the case of SF, probably going to become corrupted) and all trying to kill us. My sprite's dreamself is just trying to get away from everyone, and DD's seems pretty chill at the moment.
So let's look at this for a moment. Every single person who wants us dead has a connection to the Others. Nega Jeremy even said he was their speaker. Not much is said about the others in GodsGiftToGrinds FAQ about the Others. What they are and what they do, except that they are in every session. So in my completely made up expert opinion, I believe that the others are watchers, observers if you will, who take enjoyment in the game. After so many sessions they might get bored and start fucking around with the game, to create a little excitement. This is done in the form of corruption.
Now imagine that something changed within Sburb. Something so radical, so different, that the Others had never seen it before. Something like the White King defeating the Black king for once. Well, I imagine that the others would be quite interested in seeing just how this played out. Enough that they might not want the game to end so quickly.
The others call their corrupted servants back, denying them from killing the various players. At least for now. Until things need to become a bit more interesting.
After all, Sburb is a game. And what purpose does a game have if not to entertain?

^ That could be a very strong possible motive. And we already have a 'something changed'. The random patch fix that put the Prospitian agents back into action. That's probably never happened before, and the Horrors would probably want to see what happens.

There's plenty of other bugs in the session as well. An off number of players, the fact that our Sprite's Dreamselves are still around, and the strangeness of our lands, all add up into one interesting as hell game we're playing.

Oh, most of the specifics of Corruption I'm taking from specificNihlism's Corruption Guide here.
