Funny thing, I make a habit of clicking links in people's names in the comment sections of websites that use gravatar. Apparently, I've seen your comic before as a result. Not 100% sure that's how I was linked to it, but I've definitely seen it before. That's pretty cool.

Ross Eberhardt has curly, scraggly, red hair, leaning towards the darker, brunet side of things. Short, but growing longer and messy rapidly.
His build is more stocky and compact than tall and lanky. He might look a bit lazy, tired, or disinterested. First and early-sessions Ross was a pretty exciteable emotionally erratic easily-distracted kid, but he's mellowed out and become a lot more cynical, by default.
He dresses like a grimy steampunk greasemonkey in a pair of old sneakers and a really bitchin' toolbelt. He is not wearing goggles, he is definitely wearing suspenders, but they may not be visible under the waistcoat, if it is worn. If long-sleeved, roll them sleeves up. Probably brown paints and a white shirt, no opinion regarding waistcoat/vest-if-any.
I have no idea what his symbol is. Something about steam or gears or artificial flight.

If it wasn't a gravatar name, it was probably an ad. Still though, that's a pretty neat comic. It's funny to run into its author here of all places, is all.

Oh hey art thread thing? I guess I'll toss my hat into the ring. Benedict's this teenage partially albino dude; white/gray hair, red eyes, really scrawny little guy. Wears a thick turtleneck sweater (navy blue) to look bulkier, blue jeans and thick-rimmed glasses. Big ol' eyebrows and bushy sideburns, maniacally angry sort of look on his face. Probably wouldn't wear a shirt symbol, but if you gotta then here's what I've got lying around.

This is pretty cool, so I guess I'll add mine: Nate Wurman has short, light brown hair and green eyes. He's about average height (5'9") and fairly skinny. He is often lost in thought and seems depressed or avoidant, especially after realizing SBURB just nuked everything from orbit. Before the game, he was usually quiet, but would warm up to people easily. He was also fairly enthusiastic in his study of weather and his stormchasing hobby, either of which he could go on about for hours. He wears jean shorts and a black t-shirt with a skywarn logo over the left breast. He also constantly wears sunglasses, usually up over his forehead, and dark blue converse sneakers.

If I may be so bold as to sneak in on this? I posted a description (and a reference) here on the 'What do they look like?' thread. Keep in mind that the reference image was done somewhat in the canon Homestuck style, hence the #FFFFFF-white skin and hair.

Taken from the "How they look" thread, with a couple of additions:
Cyma Dallyce (stanzicApparati) is 5'0", with blonde hair and eyes the colour of her text (hexcode #3366FF). She's on the thin side, but she's more of a wiry muscle kind of thin than a "doesn't eat enough" kind (although she'd probably still set off a Life player's "you're too thin, you need to eat up!" urges). She's pale, having lived to a troll's cycle rather than a human's, and has a scar bisecting her right eyebrow.
She wears her hair in a bun and keeps a pair of knitting needles there. She wears a pair of stud earrings, though, done in her Aspect symbol; her guardian gave them to her for her birthday. She also looks a bit younger than she is (she was 13 when she started playing and has aged about a year and a half since then), due to being a late-bloomer; she hadn't even started puberty before entering the Medium (and has only started now because of time shenanigans, which involved one of the most awkward sex talks ever).
Pre-entry, she favoured a shirt and jeans combo with boots - post-entry, she prefers a sweater and thicker pants; her symbol is on her shirt, a four-pointed star inside a circle.
Since finding out the patterns for The Sweet Princess Dress and The Sweet Polly Oliver, Cyma's been wearing one or the other pretty much constantly with a preference for the Dress (since the gender confusion gets grating after a while). The dress is a pink, lacy thing that's very "classical fairy-tale princess" - all floofy sleeves and flounced skirts and looking impossible to run in. The Sweet Polly Oliver is a pale pink three-piece suit that doesn't really do anything significant to disguise her gender to anyone who's not a consort or a low-level carapace (it wouldn't fool the Archagents or Queens for more than a moment or two, and it would never fool a Denizen). Both of them have her symbol on them on her chest; the Sweet Polly Oliver has it over her heart, rather similar to Dave's suits.
