Name: Ness Gardna
Age: 13
Gender: Male
chumHandle: tradingcardGamer
Typing style: Ness prefers to type in a sterile, calm manner quite unlike his actual speech. He does not convey much emotion, even if he is in critical danger or anything else.
General interests: Duel Monsters. Full stop. He also enjoys video games, drawing and writing, and light reading.
Personality: He likes to put on a façade of calmness and logic, because he is very difficult to take seriously already and he wants to be taken as such. Beneath that, he can be pretty dramatic and emotional, but as that’s not an acceptable thing to flaunt where he comes from it only usually comes out when he’s highly stressed (or Dueling). Of course, being a Stage player will change this somewhat. He’s much more friendly in person, though he’s still very awkward with pretty much everyone.
“Doctor” of Stage: Due to version drift, the Maid class is referred to here as the “Doctor”. (I’m actually in the process for writing a guest/fan chapter for Stage, which is almost done at this point, and I’ll link it up when it’s online.) He’s attributed this because of his previous restraint and the fact that, when things come down to it, he can’t do it- he’ll dig in his heels and not move forward. His job is simple- well, as simple as S***B can be. He has to make sure the session goes on, keeping the rules- of the game, or of reality- intact.
Planet: Land of Bits and Rage. The land manifests as an 8-bit world, viewed from above by those on it with all people appearing as such, reminiscent of MOTHER and Dragon Quest (especially MOTHER. Ness and I share an interest in the MOTHER series). It is separated into “Moods”, different areas of the Land dominated by different emotions. The Dwelling Spire is in the Mood of Joy, and the Temple of Terraforming is in the Mood of Misery. Other Moods include Fury, Envy, Equanimity, and Denial.
Strife specibus: Duelkind (containing a plastic replica Duel Disk and his deck), Guitarkind (containing a beat up electric-acoustic).
Fetch Modus: Deck Modus. Shuffles all cards face-down, the drawn card being removed. Throwing a card without looking at it causes the item to be ejected at about rife-velocity. His skill at Duel Monsters somehow translates to being really good with this.
Kernelsprite: To be determined
Denizen: Dionysus
Dream Moon: Prospit.

So you think that I should be back to normal, non-Moogled? Okay, then.
Name: Calico Lyncis
Blood: Teal
Age: 8 1/4 sweeps
Gender: Male
trolltag: lucidLeonine
Typing quirk: Replacin9 'G' with 9, furequent cat puns
Personality: Generally fun-loving and loyal, with a natural curiosity, but is prone to overreacting if he gets mad. While he generally only has a small circle of friends at a given time, they tend to be very close.
Interests: RPGs and books, both mostly in the fantasy genre (favourite games are Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy, favourite books are the Harrey Potter series [not to be confused with the inferior human version]); cooking; playing the ocarina; exploring Prospit; since beginning Sgrub, alchemy, mostly trying to find interesting items; dabbles in writing and drawing
Rogue of Coins: Calico is comfortable with what he understands (he spent most of the last session trying to control a Smith of Rain), he tends to lose himself, and even back on Beforus he didn't really have many relationships. His role is to steal self-control, relationships, and... just plain old STUFF to benefit the party.
Planet: Land of Sketch and Trade - Most of the landscape appears to be made of plain white paper, with details drawn on with pencil crayons, and actual structures appearing to be papercraft. The consorts - yellow cats - hold flea markets every week (may change later) to honour the Fair.
Bookshelf Modus: The cards are organised into a number of 'shelves', each of which requires at least 2 cards. Every item on the same shelf must share some kind of theme, each shelf must have the same number of cards, and no two shelves can have a similar theme. (For example, you can't have a 'fiction books' and a 'non-fiction books' shelf at the same time.)
Strife Specibi: Bookkind (with a ~ATH manual), dicekind (with a standard D&D dice bag)
Dream moon: Prospit - as his trolltag implies, his dreamself has been awake for most of his life, and HAD a fairly good relationship with most of the Prospitians.

LL sounds like a really cool character. And LOSAT sounds like a really cool planet, gives a kind of "Kirby's Epic Yarn" vibe.

This is going to be awesome! How many players do we have going? I am too lazy to count but admit it!

We have five players. ...and we seem to be lacking both a Time and a Space player...

If any new players join, it'd be nice if they were a Time or Space player, though it's by no means necessary. I've created a group-editable spreadsheet to have a handy reference of important info, which can be found here. Also, something I need to note- Ness lost his hat last session, meaning that this is now revealed (because the hat is special, not much else can hide his hair). Also about Ness- he looks about 8, being very small and skinny (especially in the limbs, though it's a matter of build, not an unhealthy kind of skinniness), looking most older players about mid-chest level. He is highly lacking in all physical stats other than Scamperway. Also, you're in for an interesting time if you take his glasses off.

Okay, I'm gonna summarise starts, too, I guess. Calico has fairly low physical stats, with okay Scamperaway, but he has fairly high Flummoxie, Pluck, and Brainitude (a lot due to being a Native Mage) and has really high Transmutancy. Now have a poorly-edited sprite! He's also fairly tall (at least on human standards - not sure by troll standards), standing at 6'1". He doesn't exactly have the sturdiest build, though. (I kinda want to write a chapter on Coins now...)

Calico's sprite looks great! And I haven't gotten my Stage up on AO3 yet (not sure how to do all that fancy HTML) but GGtG has looked it over and given it the OK, so you can find it in rich-text format here. Note that in-universe, this is written long after this session- sometime past Ness' seventh, this being his third.

That's a really good guide. I particularly like [Lights, Camera]. I'm working on my Coins guide, but I have no idea how they'd go berserk if their Aspect represents self-control. :/

Perhaps it'd be like Heart, in that it's a wonderful aspect that doesn't BT. Of course, this is SBURB, so probably not. I'm imagining a BTing Coins player as a vengeful Athena- controlled, logical, and out for their target's blood. For an actual effect, if you were to take "positive/negative relationships" literally, what if it actually disintegrated the target/vicinity and reintegrated it into a clump of dirt-like matter, Dr. Device-style?

As suggestions for the Coins BT name, here are some (sorry if they're already used elsewhere, and really, really sorry if you've got one by the time this gets to you):
Blackest Heart Versus Throwdown Scourge Sisters Wretched Waltz

I think [Stocks and Bonds] works pretty well, what with the double meanings.

Yeah, that looks good- and perhaps you could enable comments on the doc so as to not clutter up this thread?

Eh, I don't have muc better to do now, might as well throw my hand into the pot.
Name: Solooze Berrant
Specibi: Chainkind (uses long lengths of chain like a very heavy whip), Slamkind (When unarmed, can fight with a stilted, heavy style).
Experience: Now her Fourth session, once more unto the breech as a Bane, but now of Time.
Planet:Land of Mechanisms and Pendulums. Large sections of land seem to randomly move on their own accord due to the constantly moving and ever-ticking mechanisms of the Land right beneath its surface. Has portions of it like forests of clocks, with "branches" (more like planks of wood sticking out from the body of the grandfather clock) containing pendulums hanging down that an agile person could use to brachiate through them quickly. Dungeons and villages tends to be hard to map out due to the shifting nature of most places, but the caecilian consorts seem to have an uncanny knack for predicting it's movement. How they manage to build villages (or really, do a lot of things) without any limbs, however, is something that may never be known.
Fairly decent stats all around as a Champion-class person, however her Scamperaway is horrible, and most things related to bustin' out the sweet majyks are as well. Transmutancy is pretty much nonexistent, as is Item Mastery, and Flummoxie isn't much either.Has especially high Gel Viscosity, Mangrit, and Pluck, though.Sleep Ratio is rock-bottom due to suffering from night terrors/nightmares, has yet to ever have a dreamself show any signs of consciousness.
While talking/typing, she tries to keep things as concise as possible. This is to counterbalance the fact she will often end up rambling as a result of her ability to link scarcely-related things to each other. She tends to separate "sentence interrupters", like asides that add additional information or context, in parentheses instead of commas.
