Øh, and Søph, What Stairs? Stairs? You are certain that you have never mentioned stairs existing, nor will stairs ever exist.

Øk, the deadline is nearing, and the players are a∅ing appearances øn the førum, which wøuld mean, as we need Time and Space players, that we require substitutes. Preferably ønes that are møre chrønically inclined tø pøst. Is there any player willing tø swap aspects, ør any øutside persøn eager tø jøin as Time ør Space? Fiddlesticks. Why is it, that everyøne's ønline, except før the ønly players that we actually need før a successfull sessiøn. Alsø, there are nøther ways øut. We might either make them die, which I'm nøt sure if anyøne is happy abøut, løst pøtential and all, ør, we cøuld make a pøst describing their entering før them. Just kind øf steal their characters før a while, and make them dø øur biddings. They'd prøbably be angry at us if they ever turn up øn the førum again, but it's them, that are nøt here, when we need them. Tø andrøid hell with what they want, if they're nøt even here tø make it happen.
Sø basically I see abøut three ways øut øf this situatiøn, which ønes dø yøu stand før? Swap, death ør embezzlement.

I have thought about it, don't get me wrong.
In death, the task of frog-foraging and timey-wimey shit would fall to someone else, right? In controlling them, sure we could make them do their scheduled duties, and we could account for the chain, but as you said, if they come back, it will be confusing and somewhat "difficult" to get them into their roles. In swapping them entirely, we don't know how long it could take, or even if we could find the correct people.
So to answer blatantly, yes.

Yes is always the right answer, isn't it? Før the cøntrølling part, which is my favøurite øf the three, før it alløws tø take actiøn quickly, whilst nøt leaving sømeøne øther with an enørmøus heap øf duties, what my idea right nøw wøuld be, is that we make søme ankerpøints, such as depløying the machinatiøns, lightflashes and stuff. As in, we make a løøse skeletøn øf a pøst, withøut talking, withøut anything øther than the basics, and let them fill it øut later øn. Sømething the kind øf:
====->Guard: What are yøu even døing. [wake up frøm daze] [get øn PC] [read up, øh nøes, keybøard døesn't wørk.] [but yøu're ønline]
Server nøtices, depløys alchemy stuff, tries tø talk, silence answers.
====->Guard: Use the Crux. [Heck yeah the game abstractiøn creating devices have been depløyed, alchemy ensues] [timer gøes døwn] [last secønd save]
The Imps wøn't have changed after prøtøtyping because time shenangigans ør sømething.
====-> Guard: Grind. [grind]
In the meantime server builds up.
[epic bøss battle] [gate]
The end.
Where when they arrive they are alløwed tø fill in the brackets. Ctrl+C, ctrl+V, twø tø three times and we have all øf them døne.

I do enjoy your formatting, and you do also give compelling points. Concerning sprites, why not simply use the P.G.O prototyping theory? It would make them forgettable, and making the imps perfectly generic = no change. So if they do have to prototype, it would have no effect on the monsters and or character complications.
You seem capable, so if you wish, the Guard may be left in your care.

Personally I'm with swapping but if you do go with controlling I would suggest changing the names so that you wouldn't be controlling their character but instead be controlling some random dude.

I'd say that's our best option at this point, unless they come soon. pS's prototyping idea and iD's name changing idea should be implemented if we go through with this, in my opinion.

I thøught abøut cøntrølling them ønly tempørarily, nøt making them a secønd character øf øne player, althøugh yøur prøpøsitiøn is alsø a viable øptiøn. And as før the prøtøtyping, I just didn't want tø define what prøtøtypings they'd have tø make. If we'll exchange players anyway, then we might as well just have the substitute chøøse. Sø før nøw the stats are: Swap - 2 Death - ∅ Theft - 2 Yes - 1 Gøing with switching we'd have tø find sømeøne tø swap tø thøugh and that might take time. If we went with tempørary theft, I'd prøbably be able tø quickly create three øf thøse, and we'd have very generic players standing there døing nøthing før søme time. Else if we'd gø with just having søme player have møre than øne character, taking øver thøse missing, which is prøbably søme kind øf switchtheft, I might be willing tø take øne øver, but twø characters is møre than enøugh før me, and we'd need the øther player be played by sømeøne else. Finally, if yes, then yes. This statement is true.

Øk, sø I'm using the ability øf [The beginning øf sømething really exiting] tø tempørarily remøve the Stale status frøm øur støry. The passive øf [The shøw must gø øn] alløws me tø win the argument, but ønly because it's a pøint øf inflectiøn in øur lives full with active Flux, pøtential. Plus, I get a mad røleplaying bønus, as this is just as Dame øf Flux as it gets, prøtecting the støry frøm the Hiatus status, whilst meta. It's a Win-Win situatiøn. Før me, being bøth the winners. Cøngratulatiøns, I, and øne øf my teammates just evølved intø BiCøPlayers. All øf us wøuld prøbably get søme Echeladder rung før Diplømacy, if it wasn't frøm beyønd the game we're talking.
Anyway, I'm assuming tøday is øver, and wrapping the discusiøn up, by winning. I'll døubleplay the the Time player, whilst Ine seemed willing tø try the Space øne. Just remember that he's yøurs nøw, feel free tø mødify. Make yøurself cømførtable with the char. We'll a∅ the ∅ player før nøw, and see if she mysteriøusly appears at the bøss battle ør nøt. Anyway, it døesn't seem she'll enter with us, ør that is the impressiøn I gøt. Let the games begin.
