vP, you do know, what the Rainy One wants to do, right?
I think their ability to subvert mechanics can get handy for this.
wB, trust her, she wants you alive.

If I get what she is trying to do, though, that is unheard of and VERY dangerous.
If someone can pull it it's a Tactician of Rain though. I hope everything turns out well, but don't complain to me if you stop existing.

Oh, I think I see how the wheels in her skittlebrained seer's head are topsy-turvying.
I like it.
So, WB, how are you hanging up? Your madgirl's doing all right, she and all her selves, as best they'll ever be.

Im doing fine aside from you know the pants-wetting terror at being hunted by two Wraiths and possibly a Questants Lament-addled Bard of Light. Also I kinda feel like I should be doing something but Im not the one with Rainy powers and we really need impossible things to win this. Order and blindness will not help much here.
I think I should cast [Order in the Court] on myself or something or I might start panicking and never stop.
Oh wait the Seer just got really excited about something. Wants me to look at the tangle of string? Its string with a winged grub all tied up in the middle what is there to see? Yes Im looking at it girl why do you keep pointing.

Law can decrease the odds of something happening. Try reducing the chances of your Seer producing clock zombies if you've got nothing better to spend the pluck on.

Okay yeah I can do that. Decreasing odds of horrible disaster go!
Also [Order in the Court] apparently works best on other people at least for Guides. I got a little bit of a calm down but not much. This situation is just
I just dont like it at all.

Guys, something just happened.
I was keeping a wary eye on things in the clock room and suddenly there was a melodramatic burst of smoke. I nearly flipped out into panic-mode, but someone got there before me. Our Thief of Time. He was yelling his head off about bubbles and not being the alpha, but it was him. I started to cast [Order in the Court] to calm him down but one of Rain's dupliclones kicked me in the shin to stop me because apparently that messes with their madness place.
So, um, I think we have a formerly-possibly-currently doomed timeclone on our hands. One that already died because he keeps picking at his chest like he's surprised it's still there. Do timeclones become undoomed when they die?

It depends on any number of factors and these are pretty unique circumstances. There's no way to tell whether or not he's still doomed at present, only a Doom or Time aspect could give you a really definite answer. So ask him if/when he calms down.
The important part is that he's there, and that he's not homicidal. That's much, much better than those things usually go. If you can get him focused, that gives you one more ally in fighting your way out of the mess you're in.
If he isn't doomed, he may survive and move on to another session. If he is, he'll die. Simple as that.

Im still alive. Sorry for how long its been Ive been a little busy.
Firstly were not in the Magicant anymore. Rain and Timeclone gathered up all the clocks and we moved base. To Prospit of all places. Yes despite us possibly having a Bard after our blood Rainy decided that was the place to go. Shes doing something strange now and whenever I ask she just cackles. Not even bothering with madness babble just laughing.
Since were alive and not pinned down Im doing a lot better than when I first asked for advice but Im still worried. Ive been scouting out the area around our base and trying to come up with good ambush points. I figure if we can lure the Dersite wraiths here theyll be distracted when the Prospitian attacks them and we can surprise them.
Yes I still have questions. Since Rain and Timeclone are busy with their weird silk and clockwork project Im the one whos been thinking battle strategy and I want an opinion. My thoughts were to start with [We're All Mad Here] to prep the battlefield and then [Let's Do The Time Warp Again] to give us a group bonus to quite a few stats. Do those stack and would the madness thing inherent in All Mad Here interfere with our ability to follow Time Warps instructions?
As usual any other suggestions would be good too.

If your Seer knows it I would also start with [Hardchorale] as long as the ambush starts (if she doesn't,then she really has no business fighting wraiths). Keep also in mind that in combat Rain players tend to end up spamming [Rainbow Valley] left and round. I don't think they can really help it. It's not a big deal (if you are not a Mist player) but be ready to fight in rather weird conditions. Thankfully the wraiths should have it far worse than you.
That said.
The madness corrosion inherent in [We Are All Mad Here] is not quite as potent as the one coming from a [Rainbow Valley], but still you might want to keep it out of the time player. Keep in mind that he is going to do a lot of appearing in places filled with madness, which is generally not very conducive to keeping one's mental health. I mean, going a little bonkers beats dying but no reason in having him suffer more than he should.
Also those particular bonus is more useful for you so that you can supercharge your [And in the Darkness Bind Them]. And remember that it gets a bonus if YOU are wearing a prototyping ring too so if you take a ringwraith down try to gank its ring before hitting the other.

Yeah and hes probably stressed enough from dying and being yanked back without any idea whether hes still doomed. Rain knows [Hardchorale] for sure since I remembering our Scout complaining about it once you know before everything went to hell. She also knows [Down the Rabbit Hole] but I remember hearing that one works best in Lands.
I wonder... Could Law counteract Rains madness effects maybe? I could try to weasel [Cease and Desist] into affecting mental states instead of abilities so Time wont have more to worry about than he already does. Id just have to specify him instead of our group because I dont think Rain would appreciate something dragging her out of the madness place.
[And in the Darkness Bind Them] should work really well with my shiny new weapon as long as I dont miss. That would suck. There wouldnt happen to be any Prospitian quests that give accuracy boost potions would there? Cant hurt to ask you guys.

Well, there would be Quirky Alchemist, but he would only give the Quest to a Prospit Dreamer. Sorry.
As for Law abilities that counteract madness? Simple [Decretum] with the clause of NO EXCESSIVE MADNESS will do. It should work well for a Guide in this case. You want to use it to make out of this alive, right? And its for your friends sake?
It will work.

You might not be able to up your chances of hitting, but you can damn well nerf the odds of you missing. Remember, when Light rolls boxcars, Law makes the other guy roll snake eyes.

Checking the forum date and wow it takes some time to change sessions.
Well first of all we won! Rain did this weird stuff with Time and the clocks to make us I dunno hard to hit damage or something. She said something about inevitabilities and it kinda gave me the willies so I didnt pry further. We got our chosen battlefield a courtyard thing set up with hideyholes and lots of cover. I prepped [Decretum] so I wouldnt have to wait through the warmup time later and Rain cast [We Are All Mad Here] on the battlefield. Then just in case that wasn't a big enough beacon for the Wraiths Rain cast [Strawberry Fields Forever] with a focus on flash and glitter.
The Prospitian got there first of course since were on Prospit and Rain tried to talk with him. I dont think Prospitians can speak madness though. In any case the Dersite Ringwraith appeared during that and the two of them started fighting. I cast that prepped [Decretum] so Time could give some support with his timeclones without the madness interfering too badly. I just stayed where I was and waited for the Scepterwraith to appear so I could ambushtag him.
Turns out [And in the Darkness Bind Them] is really effective with a law-charged weapon. Good god!
Guh the fight took a long time though. I swear Im still aching from it. Oh and the Bard never showed up so Im not even sure whats up with that. Maybe he decided to stay with the Queen rather than come fight us or take the replay I dunno.
Highlights: Prospitian wraith was killed by the Ringwraith Timeclone very nearly died but Rain got some healing items in his system in time and [Harchorale] can get really creepy. Main thing though is that all three of us are alive and in our next session so thank you all for your help!
