[ts 2-101] Ok, so, I am being harassed to make a role call for Sages, since apparently nobody is doing that. I think that is bullshit. Sages are usually insufferable even for other sages.
[ts 2-103] But anyway, since I am here, I guess if you are a native sage It'd be nice to know each other experiences and stuff. Please notice that if you drop by just to say that you already know I am going to end you.

Anywhoo. Sage is a great class because all that knowledge sticks with you in future sessions; that's, like, 50% of your power carrying over amirite.
I've got a question for you, though - how did Sage of Mist work for you? What kinds of things did you learn/study/discover/whatever?
As for me, it was a mountain of medicine. In SBURB, I'm not complaining.

The approach one has to take to being knowing stuff as the Sage of Mist is roughly the same one takes to using abilities as a normal player of Mist - Jack of all trades, master of none.
Well, except if you are any good you are master of all.
Mist is... Well, it's about everything. It's about stuff being able to become other stuff, or, if you prefer, potential. You start by realizing you are made of more than just yourself and then continue by noticing how that is true for everything else.
You know, the Haze sometimes does... Weird things to your knowledge. As if it shifted and settled, concepts morphing into each other. It doesn't help that my whispering was an Iron Archer in my first session - basically the Haze was full-on Tsundere about the knowledge.

The most important thing is: the SBURB etiquette FAQ reports that all puns about Sage also being an herb are indiscriminately dumb and you are allowed to sneer at the punster. Punching them in the face is considered somewhat impolite, but it's an it's-not-a-big-deal impolite, not a let-me-take-my-teacup impolite.
Also remember, you are not a seer. You are not going to be able to just sit there and then BAM visions, prophecies, absolute knowledge. No, no, the Sage is an Active class. You have to search for that stuff. Unearth clues. Witness scenes. Boggle at shenanigans. And, in you case, yell at things.
