i'm not trolling you... there were several people who were there when my friend found and revived me. i was told that i had been decapitated by the time he found my body... if you think i'm trolling, ask unseeingAugur sometime what happened, he was the one who corpsesmooched me.

Troll. Decapitation leads to instant dreamself decay and lets exactly zero time for corpsesmooching. Not always true, it varies by game version.
I once heard of a player intentionally sticking their own heard in a miniature transportalizer and sending it to another player in order to pull off some sort of crazy dreamself revival shenanigans.

Anybody on your team a Heart player? The one in my session said he learned how to make the shiny stuff in a person's heart linger for a longer time after death, called it [Medical Emergency]. Here's hoping he never has to kiss me.

I flew into one of the prototyping towers in my first session. I was utterly convinced there was some kind of easter egg hidden there but the second I got close - BAM! Dead dreamself. It was pretty embarrassing, to be completely honest.

I got chased down by a PK in my land once, I dived onto my quest bed right after he pulled the trigger on his gun. Bastard didn't realize i had ascended. I saw the sylph hugging it out with him afterwards, and the last time i saw him he tried to use I want you to die on the black king. He didn't make it.

Yeah, those were some good times. He just needed some love, that's all. My first death happened soon after I had first entered my land. I was just skipping along, trying to figure out why the trees seemed to be screaming and why the hell there were frogs everywhere. Next thing I knew was being chased by a humongous Ohgodwhat. Lets just say I never went near that part of my land again.

Mine was just an ordinary monster attack. A couple of basilisks and a Giclops were attacking a Consort village, my sister and I ran in to defeat them, and I got deadified. My sister revived me after retreating to a safe distance.

I was beaten to an immobile wreck out after a run in with an Atomyk Ebonpyre, so instead of healing me, the Thief of Blood gets it in her head to finish me off and corpsesmooch me. She told me the whisperings made her do it, but I'm not sure

I was in my first session and I had just tiered. The sapphire-blood leading the party of legislacerator trainees who had gotten us into the game wanted to demonstrate to her cohort what a Just death looked like. Of course what could be more just than giving a dirtblood a 13elly full of 13uckshot. The self proclaimed finest legal minds of their generation weren't fast learners and of course they had to try it twice more 13efore 12ealizing I wasn't going to stay dead. I wish I could say something 12eally awful happened to them after that.

in my first session. my own berserk trigger. a good friend. marionetteMaster. he was corrupted. by others. killed three coplayers. something caused me to activate [The Game Has Changed]. dont know. if it was from bard. or from dreams. but i suffered recoil damage. at least. that was what i was told. have almost no memory of the event. was just that mad. found abyssTemplar hugging me. while mM lay dead. in front of me. fading dreams constructs around his neck.
too much damage. knew it was only. a matter of time. aT took me to my quest bed. prepared to kiss. if for some reason. ascension was glitched. it wasnt. though that is probably one of the best ascension stories.

I ran into a REAL nasty glitch. Yknow how if you get kicked off the earthsea borealis, you get saved by your Heirfare? Guess what didn't reform once the motherfucking eldritch kicked me off? Thankfully, I didn't actually splatter. I managed to leave enough of a corpse to get dragged to my quest bed. UNfortunately, I didn't die until a few minutes after I fell. I probably would've lasted longer, except they thought it was a good idea to start moving me despite my many broken bones.
Died the moment they started moving my head.
And that's how I died, then ascended to the glorious position of Guard of Life.
With a glitch that gives my BLOOD the healing abilities.
Past self note: Wait, wasn't that because Blood and Life got stuck together?
Current self note: No, dipshit, that's not it at all. Blood is STRENGTH.

my dreamself died during the scepterwraith fight. i had a glitch between my two selves that whichever was sleeping got damaged. weird fucking glitch but hey. it was better than my. waking self dying without any players left for corpse smooching. probably the only reason anyone survived. stupid fucking bard.

Not sure if my first one actually counts, but it's related enough to the second one that I'll just go over first.
First one was a p.k.. Mage of Doubt of Fate and the Guard of Space of Time teamed up on me, put an arrow straight through my heart before I knew they were even on my land. Used a flesh ability [Loyal Beyond Death] to zombify myself in order to keep playing. wasn't aware of corpsemooching (seriously, I would like to hear the story of how THAT was discovered), otherwise would have used [Tangled Waltz], kissed myself, then kept trucking. Since I was still "alive" in a sense, not sure if this counts.
First one that I know counts came from a similar source. A couple days later, the Maid of Life of Doom (I'm horrible with names, so I simply remember people by their titles) was ganked in a similar method. Took a quick shortcut through the Magicant to get to her fast enough to read a letter from a doomed timeclone on her (the Maid) body that told me about corpsemooch revival (in exchange for a promise to "only kill me once, what you planned on doing created so many splinters I had a hard time tracing it back to this moment"). So I briefly wondered who the hell thought this should be the standard revival method, muttered "it's not necrophilia if we're both dead" and added my first tally to my "corpses smooched" score.

My first death happened during my second run.
I rolled a Space player, and tried to use [Gravity Bomb]. It backfired and killed me. Luckily a more experienced player was with me at the time and dragged my crushed body to my quest bed.

i BTed after our Grace of Heart flipped her shit near the end game. god-tier Sylph of Law apparently never forgave her for her Cataclysm, and ended up trying to gank her in the Magicant so our Maid of Space couldn't stop her. the Maid and Sylph had been fighting even before the Session started, guess SBURB made it worse. grace and Sylph start duking it out, Sylph BTs and starts throwing around a mess of Vows. they pop out of the Magicant outside my Spire and I nearly get caught in the crossfire. i cause my Cataclysm there, breaking Cause and Effect to try to stop them from killing each other, then wake up on Skaia with a metaphysical hailstorm going on. grace didn't get to her quest bed in time, I landed on mine somewhere after getting stabbed and hitting a bunch of Valhalla arrows. sylph got taken down by the Atomyk Ebonpyre soon after. most of us died at least once during that period of "wtf-is-happening" after the Cataclysm or not having a pair of Temporal Anomaggles. (fate/Time aspect goggles, made making sense of how cause and effect worked.) that's how I learned to keep [Rediscover Fusion] running constantly, and never think that things will just "turn out okay" when it comes to angry player interactions.
