Account Rules -One character per account. If you really want another character, just make another account. -Account names should be set out like the handles in Homestuck. For example: ectoBiologist, turntechGodhead, tentacleTherapist, gardenGnostic. -Avatars have a maximum size of 200x200. Try and make it that size since it just makes everything look nicer, y'know? Also, no avatars with stuff over PG-13. This goes for swearing, sex, and whatever else your crazy little mind can think up. -Signatures shouldn't stretch the page sideways. They shouldn't be too long either. You'll get a warning if it's too long. -Please modify your profile to include your native role and your current role. This is helpful for keeping track of things. Also, location doesn't work because of these fields. Keep that in mind.

RP Rules IMPORTANT NOTE Please note that the basis of this forum is that those playing SBURB use it to interact with one and other and keep themselves busy and informed. This means that rps will look like pesterlogs instead of the standard rp format, and that things such as battles and so on aren't going to take place. All though I guess your characters could yell at each other. But don't yell at the person behind the character. Just the character.
-If you want to talk to someone OOC while in an IC area, write in white and with [] or {} around it. Put the OOC at the top or bottom of the post. However, it's easier to just try and avoid it. -As with the above rule, no creating OOC post saying "looking for an rp with [whatever]" in any board but the OOC board. Those will be deleted. -Swearing is everywhere and accepted. Not swearing in a Homestuck based forum would just seem unnatural. -This isn't a literate rp by any stretch of the imagination. Especially since a lot of the characters probably wouldn't write well formed paragraphs of prose. However, try and keep away from just posting one or two words. -No such thing as a private rp on these boards. Everything is open. If you really want to rp in private, message each other. -No Godmodding or Powerplaying. I don't know how you would manage this, but basically no saying that others have done something that their owner says they haven't. -Posting orders aren't required at all. I doubt people playing SBURB would have the time to worry about those anyway. -If you're going on holiday or something, make an excuse for your character being absent. This is pretty easy: you're about to face the reckoning or they just got the tiger and need some time to calm down. -Don't double post. Except for in the Log board. It's okay there. -Liquid play is allowed and pretty much encouraged. Liquid play is when you can roleplay in whatever threads you want and however many threads you want. -However, you are not able to rp as though you are a future or past self. I'm saying that, due to time shenanigans, only present selves can use this forum. -If you want to stop rping in any thread, just give you character a little sign off like "Well I've got to go beat up some imps now so see you!" otherwise everyone might worry where you've flown away to. -When IC you should type in the colour of your character. For example, tC types like this. To do this, use the code Hopefully I've made it obvious enough which part you should replace.

Character Rules -As long as you can handle them you can have as many characters as you want. -Keep in mind how the characters would act based on the native roles, or rather what native role they would get based on how the characters act. -It is very useful to keep a character log. It's essentially a place where you can dump reminders for later on and to keep track of what your characters meant to be doing. -Think about your character. How they type, what colour they type in and so on. -Building from the last point, check out some hex code indexs so that you can find a colour for your character. That way when you post IC you can use it.

Punishments These are always fun. Depending on the severity of the rule broken, you will recieve: A warning. A second warning. A 1 day ban. A 2 day ban. A 3 day ban. A week ban. A month ban. Banned forever.
Those in charge of warnings will know exactly what to dish out. Really, if you're just nice to everyone then you won't get in trouble. It's pretty hard to break these rules enough to be banned unless you're a dick really.
