Seriously, I am pretty much the most straightforward guy ever, I have no idea why the game thought this headcase aspect was a good pick for me. Tips? Tricks? Things to avoid?
Edit: title edited hope you won't mind wW Edit2: Sand Boards protested against the title of the board, sorry.

never been a sand player. so I can't give much help. Just remember, sbrub gave you that title BECAUSE you're a strait forward type of guy. seriously, If sbrub could be renamed it would ether be "the game that kills you" or "the game that hates you and wants to see you fail and cry in the corner"

I can only offer advice I've gathered from having Sand players in several of my sessions.
For starters, don't be surprised if people automatically assume you mean the opposite of what you say, even if you're still not lying. Lying is a sand thing, if you sync with the aspect properly you'll start to do so naturally. You'll just go to say one thing and your mouth says the opposite. Like, you get to a fork in the road and try and say "We should go left" but you hear yourself say "We must go to the right!" Don't worry about it, it'll stop when you go to a new session.
I do recommend taking moment to warn your coplayers of this in case they haven't encountered Sand before, and do it now while you can still say what you mean.

I was a Muse of Sand, way back in my fourth session.
My gender was glitched (and still is) thanks to Mist bullshit in the previous session, so Sburb saw my refusal to act feminine as a problem that needed to be overcome. Yes, Sburb is a massive dick that way. I used to be reasonably androgynous when I was younger and with Sand drifting around, rendering honesty goddamn impossible... well, the rest of the session thought I was a lady, believe it or not. The Muse godhoodie did not help in the slightest.
But enough about storytime with ED. Sand as an Aspect, from what I remember, is all about finding weaknesses and driving things apart. Divide and conquer is their favourite tactic ever. Underhanded tricks are their stock in trade. If a foe is vulnerable, strike. If they are strong, deceive them until they are not. Above all, always fight dirty.
And for crying out loud, warn your co-players about the lying thing.

you don't need to lie omitting part or all of a truth is deception too
when you fight try to keep people from watching you'll be at your strongest if they have no idea what you're doing

Title Edited. I hope you wont mind wW.
Back on topic: Seer of Sand is the funniest person you can meet. As a Tactician they need to share their knowledge for the benefit of their coplayers, and as a Hero of Sand they need to lie.
They will be the most translucent liar that you meet. Like: "you need to go left!" while blinking furiously and gesticulating like they were trying to catch the biggest fly alive ;]

((thanks for title edit, gA. I misunderstood the rules--thought the parenthesis thing was only for when it wasn't clear from the rest of the title. Sorry,))
Thanks for the advice to warn the other players. I haven't talkEd to them much and wouldn't have thought to do that.
My land has all these huge standing stones? And I've decide my new favorite game is hopping between them and dropping down on top of my underlings. Trying to balance on their heads is fun, and watching the others flail and hit each other trying to get at me is also fun.
And wouldn't the seer of sand just lie so that their teammates do what they needed to do in the first place? Like, tell them there's cake along the right path?
Also, mD? "the game that hates you and wants to see you fail and cry in the corner." I just laughed harder than I have in a long, long time. Thanks, bro. Fuck this game, seriously. It doesn't get to win like that.

Okay, this definitely is probably is not the place to post this, but I totally know really don't know what to do.
I just got back from a dungeon. Really normal. Got cut off from computers for a few days so I decided to post a few things. Except I can totally can't stop lying. I type something in, but then I catch myself and realize I am lying. I know it's my job as Sand not to lie, but I'm kind of scared.
How do I stop this madness?
NOT EDIT: Don't help Please help...
