Entry #1.
I decided to start writing something, since I have a lot of free time on my hands now and I have no idea whether I'll survive this session. Most of my co-players think I'm either irreparably mad, or blatantly murderous. They're not entirely mistaken.
Two of my co-players are dead, as far as I know, because I killed them. Not "I" in the conventional sense, but the dupliclones who are for all metaphysical intents and purposes simply extensions of myself. I'm not completely sure why, since my information is all secondhand, but I can hazard a guess.
I've identified two discrete dupliclones so far. I can't be sure if there are more, but I suspect that none of us want to risk diluting ourselves any further. If that changes, I'd hate to think what will happen. I'm not sure when they appeared or how they separated from me without my realizing it, but they're both almost certainly stronger than me (or this instance of me, anyway).
The first dupliclone, I'll call him Major Tom, apparently decided to travel to Derse for some reason. He accomplished this, apparently, by designing and alchemizing a massive cannon. I discovered this weapon later on, during a wander through my land, and discovered where it led through personal experimentation. Why he wanted to visit Derse is utterly beyond me.
The second clone, let's call him Kringle, is still on my Land. He's possibly the most powerful of all, at the moment, since he seems to be much more connected to Rain. Fortunately, he's also unmotivated to do much of anything besides wander aimlessly and obliterate any NPCs he comes across. I haven't seen him in person, but I've seen his handiwork. Consort villages transformed entirely into expanses of candy, or gingerbread, or colored glass. Glaciers decorated with frosting. A massive christmas tree formed from the still-twitching limbs of imps and consorts fused together in an unholy mass.
My Rhyme co-player, bB, says he might have actually chatted with Kringle briefly, and the clone was quite lucid and non-aggressive. BB didn't even realize it wasn't me until later. I don't know as much about Major Tom, but he seems equally able to pass for me when dealing with my co-players.
From what I gather, Major Tom met the dreamself of my Space player on Derse, and hitched a ride to the Space player's Land. I don't know whether this was his goal, or unintended. Regardless, the Space player's realself was later found dead on his quest bed. I *think* that Major Tom convinced the Space player to agree to mutually attempt to tier each other, but failed. Kiss-revival might have failed, or might have simply not been attempted. I don't know where Tom is now, but he has the Space player's pendant.
I was unaware of this, at the time it happened, but bB informs me that the Guard of Law was the one who found the body. I'm not sure how she was able to tell that it was "me" -- I assume that Law has some kind of ability to identify the "perpetrator" of a crime? She traveled to my Land, and met Kringle.
I'm not sure what happened to her, but she didn't come back, and since Kringle is still alive I assume she's not. I suppose I can understand why. Both of them had the disadvantage of being passive classes, but Kringle's Rain-madness would have been almost perfectly ideal for defending against Law's sentences.
Explaining the situation to my remaining co-players is harder than it sounds. Our session has no Tactician and no Time player, and with our Space player dead we have nobody capable of scrying, so it's impossible to prove my claim of innocence. My Rhyme player is trying to defend my case, but meeting with limited success. I've never even talked to any of the others in-person.
BB is apparently friendly with our Maid of Blood, and managed to at least get her on the fence. But the Sylph of Life and Prince of Light apparently agree that I'm too dangerous to keep around -- all versions of me. I can't completely disagree with them. Maybe they'll kill off Kringle and Tom and decide to leave me be.
I'm safe for now, at least. There's a lone consort who lives in this cave. He's been helping to provide me with food and shelter. His accent is utterly incomprehensible, but he's better company than a volleyball. I've named him Tonto.
P.S.: It's possible that my clones might be using the forum or IRC, since they seem to have perfect copies of my dongle (and my shiny).
EDIT: To summarize my co-players conveniently:
Knight of Rain -- Me. Also Kringle and Tom, technically.
Heir of Space -- Dead.
Guard of Law -- Missing, presumed dead.
Guide of Rhyme -- Friendly.
Maid of Blood -- Undecided, but probably not hostile.
Sylph of Life -- Definitely wants me dead. Was friends with the Heir.
Prince of Light -- Thinks I'm too unstable to risk.
Thief of Breath -- Less opinionated, but sides with the Prince on most things.
