I haven't been into the habit of keeping a log before, though I've tried my hand at plot charts because Hope tends to get into the whole prophecy shebang. I'm almost at the end of my third session currently. I guess I'll give a rundown of what happened in my sessions.
SESSION ONE
Six players, Slyph of Hope (me), Mage of Doom, Knight of Light (unluckiest girl I've ever known), Prince of Rage (female), Bard of Life, and Smith of Heart.
None of us knew what we were doing, there was some funny prototyping love shenanigans between the Knight and Mage, the Smith (bless his little gay heart) made us all cool alchemized weapons, and a few days in the Mage called it quits and looked up, you guessed it, GGTG's game guide which has saved my ass then and since more times than I care to mention.
Things went to shit when the Bard went off his rocker and started fucking up shit (don't piss off Life players. Ever) and the Prince got corrupted as all fuck. Dark skin, shadows, the whole deal. Stark raving mad (as if she wasn't before)
Just as The Prince was coming in for the tip over onto PK territory, I dumped every single psy-buff I had on her, then just sort of hugged her. And wouldn't let go. Between the psy-buffs and pure friendship hugging she slowly calmed down and the corruption levels with it.
While I was dealing with her, the Knight, Mage, and Smith were trying to deal with the Bard, not with a great deal of success.
Cue the Prince marching in, smacking the hammer out of the Bard's hand, and hugging him (we were all actually convinced she was going to punch him to the other side of the session)
The Smith called for a group hug. Then we cleaned up the damage as best we could and moved on to face down the Black King.
SESSION TWO
Witch of Breath. Not a terribly remarkable session, both in contrast to my first and accounts from others, but I have to say that Breath is a fun aspect. Doing the Windy Thing was great! I have to admit that yes, [Eye of the Storm] was called for often enough.
A good session overall, few glitches, actually pretty fun. Good Revelawesomes too, in terms of my personality. [Wrath Of The Storm God] is honestly the best fun. I don't think everyone agreed on that, but who doesn't like almost destroying Prospit by accident cause I thought someone died?
Anyway. Everyone lived, session ended, onto next round.
SESSION THREE
Oh my fuck.
Did not go well. I am finishing this one up as we speak. No heavy glitches, but the Mage of Space was very arrogant and looking back on it was showing lots of signs of Meglovania, though for some reason no one picked it up on time. Maybe it's because we had almost no roles of aspects that were prone to prophecies.
Anyway. Mage turned into PK, reigned all kinds of shit and started killing, most likely in his bid to make the game harder. Umbral Ultimum anyone? I ended up fleeing into the Skaia Magicant. No one else made it. After some good and encouraging advice on this forum, I challenged him. The Magicant made him nauseous, and he made a huge mistake in leaving me for last because [Hope Rides Alone] was about as charged as it could get.
So now I'm alone, seven pendants around my neck. I'm on the last of the terraforming of my planet, so...in maybe ten hours I will finish and the Reckoning will be triggered.
[Hope Rides Alone] should be a huge asset against the Black King...what I wouldn't give for [Eye of the Storm] right now though.
I hope the next session is better.
