well, guess i'll stick this here just in case. just a few weeks ago i rode the gnarly wave of the human race's extermination with 20 people i barely know and wiped out face first into the sand. now, due to some Derse dreamer shenanigans i wound up on these forums and my wipeout turned into an acrobatic pirouette from the frying pan into the fire, and there are so many irons to deal with. i'm gonna end this train of shitty metaphors and say that i've got no clue whats going on.

so far i've figured out that two of us are awol, most likely dead, and that i'm a Prince of V id on the land of Mist and Plains. apparently someone jacked my land and i'm supposed to take it back. these crocodiles aren't forthcoming about a lot, but my sprite (some ungodly combination of a goose and my dog) has been telling me what i "need to know." so i did some stumbling around through the mist exploring and i desecrated a few ruins, met some consort villages, and did a few random quests for them. 

is most of the dungeon loot supposed to be my missing household furnishings?

my dad, stepmother and sisters were in my house when i entered the session. now, they're missing. as near as i can tell, everyone who isn't a player in our session disappeared without a trace. could they have been kidnapped by something? there's no trace that they've been killed or anything, it's like something just stopped time and snatched them as soon as we got into the game. i'm pretty worried.

there's 18 of us left, and most of us have figured out the basics of our Mythological Roles. I won't list everyone because there's really no point, but should i be worried about us having two Space players? we have a Witch and a Bard. Also, a Page of Rage who seems very unstable. our session leader being a Sylph of Heart has helped, though. and then there's me, should i be worried about what my title means? some of my co-players are starting to act weird around me.

i guess i'm just gonna keep exploring my land. we've all decided to use a buddy system, taking turns working on eachother's lands ever since we lost the two players. as far as we can tell, they were alone on their land and died when their house went full on moshpit.

Guardians tend to wander off, do some temporally important stuff, and more invariably, die. Best to make calls and say some goodbyes before the executioners of fate and doom send them below on the completion of their roles, if you can. I think they're obligated to just walk out without saying goodbye relatively quickly, it's quite possible they just left because game logic is futzing with reality in an attempt to ensure their death faster. Even if a Denizen or First Guardian or something that powerful kidnapped them and put them in stasis pods in a secure location they would still die somehow or other relatively quickly, you'd be amazed at what the 'game' resorts to in an attempt to kill someone, and that's before it gets serious and starts actively cheating. I would assume they went outside, escaped the moment other people weren't watching them, and are off doing their shenanigans or already died horrible deaths outside of your ability to save them. Witch of Space is an okay scrying class and it won't hurt ARC too badly if she goes about it right, so if you must know the denouement of your families have them have them take a moment off the second they're out of immediate danger to scry for your guardians and other family members so you can retrieve the corpses for an honorable burial. Make sure to warn them about how they are already dead or so unstoppably going to die that it's an imperative carved upon the multiverse first. I mean that part could be theoretically fixed by the gods of the ring but that's gonna cost you more than your and their souls and a universe frog kiddo because that's a titanic lot of work in the grand scheme of things for negligible reward for us.

There's a native Stars player on-forum if you need a spoonful of acceptance speech to welcome you to Hell. Even before replaying chucks people into the more disgusting potentials, because death of loved ones and the homeworld is obligated beyond reasonable removal in almost every version of Sburb except the Neferchain and some paradisiac potentials as far as I am aware, that piece of suffering is a hard pill to swallow for anyone, even under psybuffs and some...damaged player empathy responses.

The important dungeon loot is supposed to be the aspect abilities you learn. While the dungeon loot is trashy, it is the very alchemy-primitive kind of trashy, meaning that the recipe combinations are of hard-to-obtain or are arcanely incomprehensible natures so they'll be useful. Try to alchemize an apple only using things on a veiloid sometime, it's most likely impossible without ghost imaging via Pictionary modus.

Multiple space players isn't something I've seen in the Replayer chain series too often, but I vaguely remember a report about it from a station by another chain outside of replayerdom. It really depends on what land has the frogs, and what land has the volcano that may serve as the Forge. Their questlines may be adapted for this, or not. If they both have forges they might connect to each other with some weird lava string thing once they're both lit, and if they both have frogs then the hunt is across two lands, but honestly the duties are most likely either split or shared or given to one player solely.

Or you will die, because the session is bugged to unwinnability. Awaken a Denizen and ask them about it, Denizens are not obligated to obscure anything beyond what they themselves wish to due to their metaminds.

Anyways Prince of Vo d is not an inherently bugged title beyond Voi being a tad buggier than other aspects and refusing to be analyzed without a f ght. Acting weird around you is symptomatic of something else.
