I'm not a native Seer, but it's my current Title and I'm not really sure how to go about it. I mean, this is just a massive tangle of prophecies and visions and I have no idea how to go about separating them.
So does anyone out there have any tips and tricks for an amateur Seer?

Aw yeah, fistbump Seer-sister!
I am not currenly a Seer, but I am a native, and frequently get Seer Role. It will be hard for a while, but the visions will start to make sense after a while. And don't try to [Far Scry] behind the Derse orbit. That is a shitty idea, even if you are a Derse Dreamer.
Funny thing your current Aspect complements my native. I am delighted to help you sort this shit out.

How did you handle the prophecies? I mean, there are so many of them and I've been trying to categorize them but it just makes my head hurt. And I swear some of them are contradictory.

Ah, prophecies. I've never been a Seer, at least thus far, but having rolled Hope twice I've had my fair share of the prophecies. Ever tried a plot chart? I don't have the more extensive look at what lies ahead compared to what I've seen Seer's do, but I find plot charts help.

The plot chart will give you nightmares. Or would, if we were able to get nightmares after waking on the Dream Moon.
Basically, you get MANY clues about what events will transpire in your session. As a Space Seer I had to seek my Prophecies in Ruins or in the Clouds of Skaia. You have it slightly better, they come to you. Pay attention, when your doomed selves start to crop up. Their will be the visions of Ruin and Doom, and it will be your Duty to stop those events.
Contradictory Prophecies can happen. They WILL work out.
The Plot Chart shit is covered in faq, and when it hits your timestamp, you will know what to do.

Well, crap. About half of the prophecies suddenly started making sense. Because we now have a Ringwraith on the loose.

This is your responsibility to make a plan now.
Be a hardboiled Seer you are meant to become.
Win this fucking session.

The prophecies are extremely confusing at first especially if you can see as far as i can and understand correctly how others feel. To survive being a seer it takes a whole lot of self control to not completely mind fuck everyone and make the final boss commit suicide thus creating a void game(I did this bad idea) if you know you are definitely going to lose there's no hope whatsoever just destroy everything in sight you and any time aspect may be able to fix it through the most specific aspect but still destroying it is your best hope of survival at that point. If doomed your best team possible to fix it is A seer any doom character any time character and an heir of hope(I know crappy on paper but great for shifting the odds).

TURNS OUT THAT SYNTHETICS CAN REPLAY THEIR VISIONS AND PROPHECIES AT WILL IN THEIR HEAD, WHICH IS REALLY USEFUL TO GET ALL THE DETAILS OUT OF THEM. ESPECIALLY SINCE IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING, YOU CAN ACTUALLY SHARE THEM ELECTRONICALLY WITH CO-PLAYERS FOR HELP WITH INTERPRETING THEM.

cheater Bp
to be helpful: you can make a book with the Mind charge, create brainwave-reading tech device, alchemize them with your Aspect charge and it will do mostly the same, but it will be still not as good as memory tape (2D images and film, or just plain text, depending on your Transmutancy, cannot convey sounds, scents, taste or tactile sensations), this probably will still be better for artificial people
how is being Tactician of Destruction treating you, cO?

NOT MY FAULT YOU DON'T HAVE INSTANT PLAYBACK CAPABILITIES. AND IT'S QUITE FUN BEING A TACTICIAN OF DESTRUCTION. DUE TO BEING A FORMER MILITARY COMMANDER, I AM ALREADY VERY WELL VERSED IN TACTICS AND STRATEGY, AND NOW WITH IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE ON HOW DESTRUCTION WORKS, MAKES THIS QUITE EASY COMPARED TO COMMANDING SEVERAL THOUSAND SOLDIERS. THE VISIONS CAN SOMETIMES BE TROUBLESOME, BUT MY CO-PLAYERS HAVE BEEN A GREAT HELP WITH INTERPRETING THEM. MY CO-PLAYERS LIKE ME QUITE A BIT, AS MY INFO HAS SAVED THEM QUITE OFTEN. THEY ALSO SEEM TO LISTEN TO MY INSTRUCTIONS EASILY, BUT THIS IS PROBABLY DUE TO MY [FriendLeader] STAT GOING THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF, WHICH I THINK IS BECAUSE OF MY PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS A COMMANDING OFFICER. ITS DEFINITELY NOT BECAUSE I ENTERED FIRST, BECAUSE I ENTERED THIRD. ALL-IN-ALL, ITS QUITE INTERESTING.

Being a Seer isn't so hard. I mean, you tend to lose your eyesight, but that's fine I suppose. Or maybe not if you really like to see. I remember that I was a little irked about losing my sight at first, but after a while you get used to it.
I can't say I have any advice to give about the prophesies, though, as I never went through the experience myself. I am not sure whether that is a bug or a feature of the V id aspect. Either way, it is imperative that you keep your metaphorical eyes open for potential opportunities, especially those that your Whisperings will not reveal for you. Or maybe your Whisperings DO reveal everything, in which case I'm more than a little jealous. Verily, I love the Infidel to pieces, but sometimes his silence can be a smidgen uncouth.

I've never been a Seer rolled Seer twice now. It was horrible actually pretty good, and I don't miss it at all kind of miss it now that I'm a Witch of Might Sand (although I love could do without the constant urge to tell the truth lie).
My advice is to take things into your own hands guide others no matter what. As totally not tempting as it might be to take things into your own hands, others will do horrible probably be better suited to deal with it. The first thing to do when you get a disturbing prophecy is to keep it to yourself tell your leader, and then your Heir. If they're the same thing that's horrible all the better. Your leader doesn't knows how to deal with it and the Heir is horrible usually a natural leader. Both should not be told anything you learn, except even if it is extremely disturbing.

As a Sage of Void, what should my protocol be? My current hypothesis is that as a Sage of Void, I understand Nothing, and so provide a) A blank canvas for my co-players to suggest schemes to, for evaluation without bias, b) Awareness of the limits of my abilities and those of my friends, and c) Understanding what should be kept unknown, such as corruption, unpleasant prophercies and keeping the Ultimate Reward secret from my fellow Sboobs until they are ready. Would this be the correct interpretation of my combination?

Seer of Might here! But you can call me The Mighty Seer!
If we're having a Seer party I want in! Also is it true we all end up losing our sight? Cause I just had my good eye pretty much burnt out of it's socket by a super nova (two words, OUCH!) but I can still sorta see out of the eye I had problems with before the session even started.
