Hey, Scout is very much the best title in the game.
I was a Scout of Flow first, and I'm going to stay a Scout of Flow no matter how many sessions I go through. I'm told you used to see more of them timestamps ago, though. Recently it's been less and less of them.
So I'm going to make this thread dedicated to keeping the Scout spirit alive regardless of how many Scouts there actually are. Onwards and upwards!

I'm a native Scout of Space. I LOVED being Scout of Space, exploring everything looking for frogs. Even now that I like running around like an idiot, finding chaos as it happens, I tend to get things that require you to move around a lot, like the Stars aspect. I guess at heart I'm still a little girl stuck in the middle of know where and the game picks up on that.
Also, we have the best Godhoodie ever. It's so easy to move around in.

My client player and my session leader on my first session was a Scout of Space. He was the derpiest, most infuriating, frustrating kid. You'd swear he was an Heir of Light, with luck like his. Y'know how they used to say 'God looks out for fools, madmen, and children?' Like that.
But...yeah, in the end, he was pretty good at it all.
So here's to the Scouts.
You did good, Sean.

The number one rule is: no backtracking. Keep moving, explore the territory and push boundaries, leave no cobble unexamined.
I was pushed straight out of my nest and into Sburb at the tender age of 19 apogees, which apparently corresponds to 12 years. My coplayers were far older - mostly around 30 aps or so. I had to go from a nested child to an explorer with no period of adjustment in between.
All I can say is it worked. After a while you grow to love the lifestyle. It's never, ever the same thing twice. Even if you have to make it that way yourself.
Just remember to keep a meal on your belt and a sleeping roll in your sylladex.

Checking in – another native Scout of Space here. Still in my first session though.
No backtracking sounds harsh – I've already visited all the other players' lands! If I have to keep exploring new frontiers all the time Im going to have to go to the furthest ring at this rate, and that sounds freaky.

So long as you keep moving forward- circling through the Land chain- and pick a different direction to go when you get there, you should be fine. The "backtracking is bad" bit mainly means "don't turn around and go back the way you came". If you allow some time between visits, ending up in the same place more than once isn't harmful. Just, try to approach from a different direction or manner than last time as a safety precaution.
Also, if you're high enough on your echeladder, you can set a portal with the destination "somewhere I haven't been before" which is always fun! Just. Go through it armed to the teeth and double check that it's not underwater.

you will not be punished if you visit your Skaian Summonings again, just so you know. The Whisperings favour will override the disruption of RC. i've been a Guide a good few times so I would know.
