Haha, yes we do. Good to see another native Hope player!

While I do admit that "Hope Rides Alone" is a good song, Blood has you beat. "Raining Blood", bitches!

As a current Hope player, I'm afraid I'll have to side with the folks with awesome theme music.
Which is to say, HOPE RIDES ALONE. (Though here's hoping I don't end up actually having to do this one solo.)

It is a little known fact that back when I started playing this ability was still called [Spes Ultima Dea]

Do things in the game really change over time? That's never made any sense to me, and some part of me wants to call BS. When you "Replay", you suddenly "update" to a newer version? Also, that would imply that there's some one(s) out there actively working and changing the game, not just for themselves, but for everybody. I'm not sure what to think about that.

I wrote an article on the state-of-the-art theories on Session Drift some time ago, I'll see if I can find it.
Long story short, patch releasing between sessions is definitely a thing. I am not sure who releases them, but it happens.

To clarify, other TT:
'Patching' and 'Releasing Between Sessions' are analogies that make it sound like we know more about what's going on than we do.
Put more succinctly, we're constantly learning new things about the game, and frequently what we thought was impossible is becoming possible.
See also:
- Increasing lack of regard for traditional Class gender assignment
- Changes in rarity/frequency of certain Classes appearing in sessions (Where the fuck did all the Cataclysms come from?)
- Mixed Veteran/Firstie sessions (Seriously this shouldn't happen, guys.)
- Players claiming Aspects nobody has ever heard of before
- Aliens??? (Seriously. What the hell?)

Of course, the reasons we are going on and on so slowly mostly have to do with the fact that you have to fend off stupid internet trolls every fucking step. It appears that trying to come up with valuable models that may shed some light on what's going is not important enough to stop idiots from making up data for the lulz.

I think aliens were there for quite a long time. Yet they were eiter very incompatibile with Sburb, very incompetent (coughtrollscough) so they never replayed, cause they were all dead, or our versions do not match. Probably aquatic species, or species made of plasma, the like
