My friends are dead.
I only have one person to talk to face-to-face and she's kind of a bitch.
The black king, black queen, and the wraith is dead.
I am at fault for all of the above.
Is there even a point in going on? It all my fault, all of it.
I just sorta want to lie here and...
stop existing, I guess?
Maybe stop existing retroactively, so that none of this would have happened.

You are not alone. Just on this forum half of us knows that feeling.
It will work. Finish the Frog, or your friends death would be in vain.

But I'm the one who killed them.
You are talking to a murderer.
I'm quite possibly the worst there ever was, in terms of having alive friends.

It's hard, having to deal with this. So hard, and it never really leaves you. I can sympathise. In my first session, I lost three friends to a PK, and I was the one to preform the final blow on the PK while my Knight distracted him. At least you know that your friends died an honorable death, one with meaning. Mine, three died for no reason, and the fourth killed to save our own skins, after he went insane and rampaged. We defeated our BK shortly after this happened, using our grief to set off breserk triggers.
I sobbed for three hours when I got to my second session and found myself back in this game, without the guy who kissed me when the King fell. If my server player hadn't talked me into getting myself into the session, I would have died then via meteor. (spiralPyro, Slyph of Might, she died saving another second-session player from a Ringwraith later in the session)
There's something I want you to remember: this isn't your fault. It's the Seer's, if anything. Your friends knew what they were getting into. They died so YOU could live. Don't give up. You can still complete this game, and go on to do something- save a life, help a newbie, find a way to make this game a little more bearable for someone- in their honor. They wouldn't want you to stop existing, they wouldn't want you to give up.

...and to be honest, the quicker you get out of this session, the quicker you get away from her.

@ob= I understand your haste, but there's a certain thing people have called emotions and if they aren't dealt with right then you'll have a potentially failed session anyway and an even more traumatized Waste of Breath on your hands. Be quiet for a moment.
Back to you BS, I know that feel almost exactly. A LOT of people here do. In my last session things were going okay when out of the blue, PK TIME. He got half the team before we knew what was happening and by the time I absconded to the Magicant and had recovered enough courage to start thinking about what the hell I was going to do about it.
I'm afraid there's nothing to do but keep calm (HA) and carry on and once you get the sparklefrog and finish the session have a mental breakdown and let another player dump a whole bunch of psy-buffs on your head because trust me those things you will want.

OB, of all the times and places, this is NOT the appropriate one to call him a baby in. People are dead. Please, direct yourself to GM's etiquette FAQ and read it until you've run out of anything to read.
BS, what happened is not your fault. You didn't know what was happening and even then, odds are if you hadn't done what you had, the Game would've killed you off anyway for not following the script of the Alpha Timeline. I'm sorry that it happened to you, because nobody deserves it, but sometimes these things just happen no matter what you do.
Your friends are in the Dreambubbles now. With a little luck, you might be able to find them out there.

OB, why don't you make yourself useful and start scrying for the sparklefrog?
BS, you have to finish the game. You have your Space player's pendant, I assume? Get to her land and start searching. We'll support you. And remember, it's the game's fault. There's no way a Waste of Breath could exist and something not go horribly wrong. The Role played you.

Guys, please stop trying to talk to OB like she was a normal sane person. She is not. Save your time and just ignore what she says. That also goes for you BS.

"If you're going through hell, keep going."
Better people than the bitch who did this to you are waiting for you on the other side of the Door. Get through this, and you won't just be another veteran. You will be proud to call yourself a Survivor. Trust your Aspect--Breath isn't just destruction, it's freedom. You'll get out of there.

Hey man.
I understand what it's like to feel like you're a murderer.
Don't let it get to you.
It's the game. These things happen.
At least you're still alive.

I killed my first session best friend because of a Berserk Trigger.
Second session was bugged all the way to the Furthest Ring, and I honestly can no longer remember the half of it. (I think I had a Heart player remove that memory. It must've been... pretty extreme to make me do that.)
Third session went from eight to two about halfway through the game because of a little something I like to call Sburb being a dick. I barely got out of that one alive.
So by the time I got to the fourth session the Rage player immediately ordered me not to have a mental breakdown.
There are no easy ways out. I wish I could make it easier, but it doesn't get easier. The feelings are just as strong five years out. They just come... less often. You learn to forget. We all do.
It's why so many of us keep blogs and logs and diaries.

Well enough. A couple weeks into a bog standard Maid of Life run. Still taking up more than my share of psy-buffs, Sylph of Light repeatedly dragging me through maturity quests, the usual deal.
The others are in the 2-10 session range. Second session Muse of Hope is kind of a loaded gun right now, her breakdown will be fun to clean up. Not. Mage of Mist is a dumbass. Anyway, this ain't my thread, I should catch up elsewhere.
