So I guess I should keep a record of all of this. For posterity or something. Maybe to keep track of things once this whole thing starts getting convoluted. There are sixteen players in this thing, convoluted is bound to happen sooner or later.
The player list:
Elijah/unmovingMind - Thief of Fate (that's me)
Tristan/gloomyMassacre - ???
Khloe/underlyingShine - Seer of Law
Reid/sleeplessUrgency - ???
Katherine/ultimatelyUnruly - Rogue of Space (session leader)
???/soullessGuardian - ???
???/maddenedMarionette - ???
???/mellifluousSongs - ???
Matthew/gentleScaredycat - Page of Might
???/gleeUnlimited - ???
???/gracefulGreenery - ???
???/meticulousUpstart - ???
Prudence/sparkingMoxie - Bane of Rhyme
???/uprightGlory - ???
???/miseryGenerator - ???
Samatha/spectralSkeletons - Grace of Breath
As you can already tell, I don't even know the names of half of these people, and I know the titles of even fewer of them. All I know is that Katherine invited all of them to play, and this is everyone's first session. I'll update this post as I get more info.

So everyone managed to clear Entry well enough. My server (Tristan) seems competent enough. My client (Samantha)... is creepy. She seems nice enough, but dear god, does that girl ever stop smiling? I mean, even when she was carving up imps with a scalpel she just kept smiling. It was really fucking creepy.
Anyway, Entry was a week ago, and now everyone is presumably off exploring their lands. So now I'm here in the Land of Scrolls and Wires. I've read some FAQs, talked to some conveniently placed purple bats (these are consorts, right?), and I guess everything is going well. By nightmare game standards, anyway. I still can't find my brother anywhere.
So the consorts tell me that I'm the Thief of Fate. According to the FAQs, Fate is the aspect of instinct and general not-thinking. I'm getting the feeling that this game really enjoys fucking with me. It must have had a fun time flipping my worldview upside-down. I mean, for the love of everything science, this game shouldn't even be physically possible. But it is. And it gave the neurotic math and science geek the aspect of not thinking.
This game is going to be a goddamn nightmare.
