So. No parties I suppose.
I guess I'll just.
Party with myself.
Oh that sounds wrong.

Ugh, had to put this off for a while due to a minor case of temporary insanity. (Yes Voices, I know you're sorry and all and yes, we're bros and everything again, but I'm the Bane of Hope at the moment so you kind of have to GTFO anyway. I promise we can have a radical rainbow rumpus party the next time I roll Rain.)
But that's over with now. Mostly.
I've been putting stuff together for this while the Strife and the Voices scream at each other/negotiate a timeshare on my grey matter, and I reckon I've got the stuff together for the party. Snacks, drinks, a few decorations, a card game I found lodged deep in the recesses of my old miracle modus and a few good DVDs. The only question is where to have it? The obvious candidates are a dwelling spire or a Homefree - not mine though, the Strife is not exactly a social Whispering. The Bard's Homefree is a better option, except that it might get her a bit too worked up - plus she stuck it in literally the most dangerous place she could find. So it'll probably be a dwelling spire.

I favor custom-building an extension onto someone's Dwelling Spire/house to turn it into Party Central. Magicant may also be ideal, but may not be equally accessible for all players, or may not have a suitable meeting room, depending on the session's quirks. Like, how you can't always find the Clock Room in a Magicant, you may not always find an accessible party-suitable room.
I like card games like Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity ( www.cardsagainsthumanity ), the latter having the benefit that you can download and alchemize a copy of the rules and cards off the Outer Ring. Simple, funny, stuff that gets people talking.
For decorations, I'd shamelessly pick the brain of Giggling Baker on Prospit or Vivacious Florist on Derse: they get involved in several of the masquerades or buffets or processions, so they'll have quite a few ideas and may even excitedly loan you a few things.

Since the plan is to invite everyone, including the Space player, the Magicant is off the list as well. Plus, none of us have actually found any entrances yet. I reckon we'll hold the party in the Witch's house. It has plenty of fancy rooms, most of which are still intact.
Thanks for the hint on the Carapacians VP, I'll look those two up next chance I get.
