Im a bit stuck on trying to grind levels.
Cuz I'm a Guard of Blood, right? I've taken some serious hits and surprisingly my bones haven't shattered, yet! Kinda weird. Blood is totally sweet, but I'm not so sure I'm going to be leveling very well due to my leveling bonuses as a guard probably come from PROTECTING people.
Thing is, there's nothing to protect! All of my consorts are too busy crunching numbers in some office building!
*sign*
Well I made this thread to ask: am I able to level from using my Blood powers, too? I only know, like, one, I think? I dunno what [The Pulse] is, but I think I made a door alive? A little? I was hitting on it, you know, giving it my best lines, trying to get it to unlock. It was a joke, I didn't even know I was a Blood player yet. Then the door moaned when I waggled the handle I...
It was a guy door... :I
What is that ability called? [Awakening]? How does that work?

Try getting together with another player and guarding them. That should work.
Also, yes, the ability is called [Awakening]. Have fun with the door you made alive and then jerked off!

I'm not calling him back...
Well I rendezvoused with Spenih and that was pretty okay! I got pretty pumped from some music I played and really laid some imps out flat!

Hey hey, RD, how's it been treating you? Getting tuned into the pulse and flow of Blood?

I'm kind of new to the blood aspect, so help me out here. The higher my level, the more I want to fight these stupidly impossible things. Can someone help me out cause some of my players are getting pissed at me for doing this all the time.

Hey, fellow Blood Mage. *waves*
Um, I never really experienced something like that myself. Most of the time I was kinda running around behind the scenes, doing bizarre stuff to keep the team together and motivated and dropping stupid little riddles like popcorn. Then again, I found the FAQ early and kinda took it as gospel, so I was doing my damnedest to be the best Mage I could be for fear of dying horribly.
Maybe the invulnerability thing is getting to your head, I guess? Whatever it is, fighting stuff probably isn't exactly what a Mage should be doing, unless it's part of some elaborate, over-complicated riddle thing aimed to help your co-players, I guess? *shrugs*
Sorry I couldn't be much help.

I'm pretty sure it's just really getting into my head. You don't just be a scarred person the majority of you're life, and then try to not go over board when you hardly have to worry about anything anymore. It's like I want to just help out my session members and hide in a dark corner doing riddles for most of the session. But there's another part of me that just want's to run up to the toughest enemy in the session, and have a debate with it about why it's so stupid while throwing fireballs at it. I have not had this much of a mind fuck since when I was a waste of doom. It has gone so much to the mind fucking zone that I actually gain mage bonuses when trying to explain it to my session members.
