I'm stealing horn guy's spare computer, so excuse me using his account. A thing happened that we're not sure what to do about. You see, some mix of prototyping ended up with mobs with a hallucinogenic bite. Normally it's just stuff like visual distortions or having conversations with imaginary people, but something weird happened and whats-his-face was bitten he started thinking he's wherever he was before the game.
What I've gathered is that trolls are like hyper-violent and stuff, and he's outright said he's holding himself back because we're human and troll customs don't apply to us so I'm worried about our safety. He's the only troll in the session, so you guys are the only people I can ask. What should we do to keep him from going hulk smash on us?
Before you ask, no there isn't a cure. It usually wears off after a day or so.

There are a few aspects with the power to shut that sort of thing down, but if you had those I'd assume you would have used them already. So yeah, tranquillisers are good idea.
Unfortunately, Troll biology does have some critical differences to human biology. To be sure you've got the right sort of chemical, use that sopor slime stuff they sleep in as a base when alchemising the tranqs - but don't use it raw.

Uh, sopor slime stuff? What's sopor slime stuff? He doesn't sleep in any slime, just curls up in the bathtub. I always thought that couldn't be comfortable, but just figured it was an alien thing.

It's this numbing stuff they sleep in to hold off the nightmares they get, but a lot learn to go without because it can be hard to get a hold of after your first session. Someone posted a way to alchemize it, hold up...

You can apply a blunt weapon you DO NOT have in your Specibus to their horns. It will make them faint from shock (it is pain that can be compared to crowbar strike applied by a Hero of Void to your nads)
he will wake up with a killer headache and probably killer mood, but he should be fine.
Also, sopor seems like a good guess.

This stuff is very green. They sleep in it you said? Weird. I'll get Marcus to try to alchemize up a tranquilizer gun.
Is there any particular reason why the slime can't be used as-is?
GA, we'll try your suggestion if this doesn't work. I'm not very eager to find out what will happen if we hit him and he doesn't go down.

This is a sure method. stopped Berserking blueblood, this guy is green so he is supposed to be less sturdy. remember, you have one shot at this method.

It'll do a number on his think-pan, but it won't make him seriously sick or anything. Not long-term anyways.

Still not convinced he won't just turn around and attack me if I do that. :-/
So what should I be looking for when we alchemize the slime into a tranquilizer? Are we in danger of making something deadly instead of soporific or something? Horn guy's been really tight-lipped about how trolls function.
I kinda don't want us to lose another person.

If all else fails, use: Image projector v.2.0 @@ It's a picture you! = hologram of you.
It'll give you a couple seconds head start while he's distracted with attacking the fake you.

It's liquidy all right. I still can't believe trolls sleep in this stiff.
Sarah says she overheard him making plans to invade Derse. If he starts ordering us around before the tranquilizer's ready she's going to wallop him. I hope it doesn't come to that.

Never mind.
We had to whack him across the horns. He kinda tried to flog James for being out of uniform. I think. At the very least he was shouting something about dress codes and waving a cane threateningly. So yeah, Sarah grabbed a firepoker and smacked him a good one. He dropped like a rock.
So, um, I guess I should make an account here some day? In case something comes up and horn guy doesn't have a computer where anyone can break in and steal it.
