So being a Destroyer class, Princes are enabled to do two things- to destroy with an Aspect, or to destroy the aspect itself. Of course, the game wants to make you choose, but if you feel like you can pull it off, you can play both sides of the table. While the Displacement classes have it easy, being able to use and remove their aspect at will, toeing the line is a little more difficult for us. Being careful and striking a balance is going to be hard for the class that's supposed to just put an end to things, but if you can handle it it becomes like being two classes at once. Only you have to work for it, not like those cheating Thieves I mean who do they think they are.
So which side of the fence did you come down on? Destroying or destroying with?
Personally, I was planning to walk both sides but ended up falling ass-backwards into destroying my aspect when I botched my ascension. This was probably one of those inevitable things, too, since my Whisperings just kept mourning and wailing about how the night is being destroyed and the Law is over, before it even happened. Anybody else have mega sad Whisperings when they destroyed their Aspect?
EDIT: also i GUESS bards can pull this shit too but who even cares about them and their doofy codpiece clown getups

I've rolled Prince twice.
When I was the Prince of Rage I mostly shouted things to death. I also acted like a bit of an asshole, to my eternal shame.
As the Prince of Time though, I ended up destroying my aspect. Mostly by subverting a lot of Sburb's usual WTS. We had significantly less time-bullshit and predestination in that session than usual.
On the subject of Bards, yes the Godhoodie is stupid. I've also rolled it twice. As the Bard of Time I ended up pretty much the same as when I was a Prince and destroying my aspect to cut down on the WTS (I hate Weird Time Shit, by the way), just in a more roundabout manner. I also rolled Bard of Mist which... yeah, let's just say that session was incredibly weird and leave it at that.

I have been a Bard of Space. I ended up allowing the World to destroy and ruin my enemies. mostly by making teleporters from Derse nonfunctional. Agents could teleport only their heads. It was messy but funny at that time.
Bard can try to act in "funny way", so if you goof around and feel your Aspect gathering around you, you just can go with it. It will work in your favour but may disrupt many, many things.
Also, Destroyers of Space should never use their powers in the presence of Frogs, especially around Genesis Tadpole. It will give you a massive Roleplay Coefficient boost, but at this point it will pretty much make your game unwinnable. You know what I mean, right B\

i'm prince of dreams and i've actually had a lot of luck destroying both my aspect and through it but i think that is partially my circumstances in any case though i've been weaponizing dreams really well but i've also been destroying the focus and organization of things especially some of my sister's really stupid laws and the attempts of the derse agents to take advantage of prospit being completely gone

I did both actually, but destroying mind is actually beneficial when...oh you say kill the black king in one shot, by yourself. Sburbs is really fun to screw with because you never expect what the title means. I had no idea what it meant and thought it was fufilled when I popped a few heads quite literally with [DAMNurysm].

Yeah, sure you one-shotted the King in one hit as a Hero of Mind, Prince or not. It just ain't an offensively-oriented Aspect like that. Pics or it didn't happen, as the corpsepartiers say.Did anybody figure out how to switch from Princely Pantaloons to Royal Slacks? What, have you got a problem with short shorts? At any rate: there's a long quest-line you can do with Miss Tailor that lets you modify your god-tier and dream pyjama outfits.

So far I've had more luck (haha aspect puns) destroying Light than destroying with it. It's nice having every attack hit something vital 13ut 13urning away a target's luck just happens to 13e much faster and more effective. It doesn't seem to 13other the Shine that much either, although it does put a damper on the whole "uncrushable optimism" part of the aspect, although let's 13e honest I was never going to get that anyway.
What, have you got a problem with short shorts? They're ok, not all of us have the 13est looking legs.

As a Prince of Blood, I was usually destroying with social bonds, because I didn't need more help destroying social bonds and I was determined to get SOME personal growth in. I accomplished this by teaming up with people and destroying things together. Although, in the end, I destroyed a social bond as well.
As a Bard of Rhyme, I brought destruction to other people's calm by being myself at them until they got mad. Not the most mature route, I admit, but I got ARC from it. I also brought destruction by Rhyme by dotting my land with pillars of ice covered in sharp spikes and hurling enemies at them. I'm not entirely sure which side destroying my own emotions (via a custom ability that was like [Ice Cream In The Veins] on steroids) falls under, but the Shade liked it either way.

Hello, I am currently in my second session and am spending it as a [Prince of Space], I'm trying to stay in the "use [Space] to destroy" side because [World] is a so much better than my old [Whisperings] and I don't want to upset her.
