Uh...hey guys is it OK if I ask a question? I kinda have a rather personal and awkward problem that really needs to revolved for my next session, if not my current one. I guess I should set up some details before I get to the Heart of the matter. This is my first session of Sburb and surprise, surprise I didn't know a few things. One of those few things being that the game makes it a point to have the Session Players have a gender balanced team. Half Male and Half Female. (Maybe that's only for us human players, I don't know) Anyhow my session has 3 Male and 1 Female Player and at the time I did not think anything of it, that is until I woke up on Derse and found that well...(Please don't laugh) my Dream Self is a GIRL when I myself I'm DEFINITELY A GUY. My guess is that the game figured out that something went wrong with the whole balance thing and decided "why don't I mess with this guy and cover my own ass along the way". So PLEASE guys tell me this is some kind of fucked up glitch that can be fixed or something at least for my next session, because this whole gender bender thing is getting awkward and just plain wrong really fast.
PS: I'm REALLY, REALLY concerned about what will happen to me if I go God Tier while I'm in this situation.

Ha ha ha, oh, man. Uh. Yeah that's a really inconvenient and disturbing thing to have happen to you, I guess. Lots of people get misgendered title assignment, but I haven't heard of this problem in particular. I don't know anything about dreamself generation, but I mean... you don't have to catch the tiger, and while you can get all kinds of sweet perks from doing moon quests in your sleep, they're hardly essential to a session's progress. Stock up on coffee I guess?
Couple things- firstly, you say this is your first session? Not sure which title/aspect in your little user sidebar thing is accurate, then- while Thief is unisex, Seer is a female-assigned title and might have had a connection to the bug. Might want to be there when your session's ectobiology goes down, too- maybe like, you and your ectomom got switched around meteorwise and you ended up with her dreamself or something. Who knows, shit goes wrong in Sburb all the ding dang time. but i mean yknow theres worse things that could happen all things considered it sounds kinda hot actually
Oh and I guess this thread prolly goes in General Advice or Ectobiology or something, I dunno forum architecture is always hard to get used to?

Yeah, this is the wrong forum for this. Anyways...
That certainly is unusual, but not unheard of. God tier isn't required to beat the game, though, so you can do your best to avoid dying and not have to worry about it. I believe it'll reset itself after you pass through the door, even if you tier or get revived via corpsesmooch, so don't really worry about it.
Also, SC, Seer isn't a female-exclusive title. There are quite a number of male Seers. And sleep deprivation is never a good thing. You're gonna have to just suck it up and quest as a girl.

Ugh sorry guys for posting in the wrong forum. I'm such a sboob. Anyways I think I'm starting to have some more weird issues. For one, the quests own my land keep revolving around me having to go sleep on my Lands Beds constantly for whatever reason. Pretty much FORCING me to deal with this whole gender bender on Derse. Also my Dream Quests have been acting up to. For some reason they all deal with me talking to that creep Draconian Dignitary. That guy just gives me a leering stare when ever I try to talk to him. Do you guys know the best way to deal with him and get him to actually cooperate.
Also the other players in my session have been getting curious as to why I never show myself at our weekly meetings on Derse. Should I just give it up and tell them about the whole thing. I REALLY don't want to, things could get even more awkward if I do.

Actually, being a girl makes it easier to persuade DD to do stuff. That and Swedish fish. And I think it's better to just tell them right away. They may assume the worst otherwise.

There's worse than this that they could be assuming?

Thanks guys for the advice. I didn't know about DD's love of fish (and grey ladies) I'm sure to get this attention now. I have also told my Session mates about my problem and for the most part their surprisingly OK with it. The other guys especially, their totally being sensitive about it and a one of them has even volunteered to act as my personal bodyguard whenever I'm in Girl Mode on Derse. Only down side through is that he tends to be a hair's breath away from me and always patting me on the back trying to console me or something when he is guarding me, but hey that's all part of the job right.

That's not part of being a bodyguard. That is not a part of any job at all. I suggest you have a talk with him about personal space, and hope that he's not doing it on purpose.

You, uh, don't need a bodyguard. You're perfectly capable of defending yourself as a dreamself, with flying kung fu. Yes, it is as awesome as it sounds. Also, note that DD isn't a huge fan of fish in general, but he loves Swedish fish, the candy.
