I have the Circle Fill modus and it's pretty lame! I have to fill out a standardized test for the item! Thankfully its multiple choice so I can get through it really quickly! But trying to retrieve a Stradivarius violin leads to some really buttdumb questions that I barely understand! Thankfully: Google!
But yeah, just use Arraign! It's probably better than having a third nipple!

I'll stick with Puzzle, thanks. The hard cap on storage space is the only reason I ever clear out my sylladex--I don't want to think about how much crap I'd captchalogue if I had infinite room.

Anyone else ever ended up with Grab Bag modus? I was in a rush when I entered and grabbed the nearest modus I could, which turned out to be my sister's when she did her improv comedy crap in public. God I hated that crap. She'd pull shit out of that bag at random and make stupid punning jokes and then throw them at people.
I miss her.
The only good damn thing about this thing is it's got like fifty cards and is really lenient size-wise. Good luck if you want to actually get anything you wanted out of it. I had to learn to keep everything alchemized into clothing or just put it somewhere safe if I ever needed it like right away.
Don't want to get rid of it, though. Just... doesn't feel right letting it go. And [Eject]ing a ton of boulders on imps is kinda satisfying.

I got this crazy one called Codex. Basically, it can hold a bunch of stuff, but retrieving it takes 12 minutes. great when dungeon diving, terrible when you're in a jam.

I've got one called the Revolver Modus. It can only hold six cards at all times in it's barrel. When I wish to take something out, the barrel spins. Whatever is landed on is ejected from the sylladex. However, if it lands on an empty card then the entire sylladex collapses and sends all my shit flying in different directions.
Think of it like Russian Roulette.

The weirdest modus I have ever heard of was the Davy Jones' Locker Modus. Basically you could put something in there, and then never retrieve it ever. I am not sure who ever thought it was a good idea.
Me, I usually use Equation Modus. It's kind of straightforward. Sadly I have never come across to an Array or even better Wallet modus I could gank in my past sessions, or I would. I mean, the only gankable one in this session is... Encryption? Who the hell does even use that.

my Modus is Struggle I have to use force to pull items the bigger the item the more force is needed ... it occasionally breaks fragile items when they are retrieved

Tarot modus is both easy (in that you can retrieve anything as long as you can find it) and hard (in that finding anything is like pulling teeth).
It basically forces you to interpret the symbolism of the card to find out what the item is. Bonus to Cryptical classes, which is nice.

My modus is Password, which is another good/bad thing I guess? Every item gets assigned a seven-digit (letters and numbers, case-sensitive) code when you captcha it, and you need to correctly input the password to retrieve it. It can hold a lot, though, and re-captcha'ing an item again gives it the same password (I think it's based on some kind of encryption of the item's normal code). I ended up covering the walls of my dwelling spire in written-down passwords until I could remember them, and wrote down a few on my hands/clothes. Getting better at remembering random strings, though. I can usually keep track of the important stuff pretty easy now.

Mine's called the Break modus
Basically, if I want to captchalogue something, I need to "target" it (Sometimes focusing on the object works, but it will target things unintentionally), then destroy it. If i were to captchalogue a glass cup, I'd throw it to the ground after targeting it, and it would appear in one piece in my deck. It can hold any size object, as long as it's properly destroyed.
Occasionally it captchalogues things I just wanted to straight up break, and other times it will not target it and I'm left with one broken laptop. Not a fun Christmas day that was.
Ohyeah, it can't repair anything. if I take an already shattered cup and grind it to dust, i'll only get the original shards.

i've been rolling with the tetronimo modus since my first session, and it's done me well
a surprising amount of room, and the only requirement to take things out is that they at least partially form complete horizontal lines, which isn't hard at all to manage as long as you don't captchalogue anything with a hole in the middle
oh, and you can't captchalogue a lot of things at once, since if you don't take the time to drop everything in the right places you end up having to overflow the modus and eject everything at once to get it all out
still, i'm pretty great at tetris, so it works out in my favor

may i recommend feynman modus? to get an item you have to manipulate simulated quarks that each represent an item. to get the item out you manipulate the quark to form a quark, antiquark pair and vaporise itself. this causes the item to pop out.

might i recommend not using the immolASHion modus i mean like immol a t i o n captchaloguing items works just fine except you cant really take them out when you want to you have to wait until they finASH burning you see when you captchalogue an item it is set on fire and when the fire ceases thats when the item pops out unscathed
...thank god for alchemy i guess
