I've read GM's guide on etiquette but I need some more in depth advice. Just started my second session and I rolled "Thief of Fate", and I keep having these urges to steal stuff. I know "Fate" is the "Aspect" of impulse and trusting your gut, and for the most part it's been pretty handy, just been stealing the horns and heads off of "Imps". However my gut's telling me to steal the "Witch of Rhyme's" "Strife Specibus".
So my question is this: How do I go about stealing the "Spearkind Specibus" from my "Witch" without seeming like a total dick? I kinda don't want to ask her for it, because then I think my "Roleplay Coefficient" might drop. I know I need to steal it, but is there any way to go about this in a polite and non-alienating way? This also applies to any future scenarios where I feel I need to steal stuff from my coplayers.

I assume the whole thing goes much easier when everyone in your session is aware of what rolling thief entails. I tried to steal a copy of our Time player's plot notes (mostly to shut my whisperings up, they kept droning on about how it would be a "burst of inspiration" or some garbage like that) and ended up getting caught, long story short it took two of her future selves to stop her from pickaxeing both my arms. Apparently it was imperative that I not get my hands on her plans.
I think it should go better for you though, from what I've read Fate has a good way of taking care of players. You may have to worry about people blaming you for stealing things that they actually just lost (our Smith of Stars is the absolute worst about this).
Hope this helps (Thief is the only class I've played so far).

Get a memo going. Make sure all you coplayers understand what your role is and that you're very sorry about any inconvenience it causes them. Let them know that if you steal anything of theirs you'll give it back when they ask, it's just a thing you have to do for your ARC.
With that out the way, go steal it.
Assuming your coplayers know what's what, they should hopefully be pretty understanding.

I've found proper communication is integral to Fate; our tendency to pull impulsive weird shit for now apparent reason can make us look irresponsible, jerks, or just outright deranged. I'll second Extropian's advice on starting a memo, though it might help to link to GG's glitch FAQ for a description on what being a Thief of Fate entails.

Thank you all for the advice! I made a memo and informed everyone in advance that if I took anything of theirs I would attempt to return it at the earliest convenience and I apologized in advance for any immediate inconvenience this would cause. My "Witch of Rhyme" seemed fine with the arrangement though the "Ward of Doom" got pissed off, since he thought this was me trying to steal all of his kills rather than just general things. I've assured him this was not the case, but once again I apologized if it does happen. But the upside is now most of the party wants to come dungeon diving with them. Thanks again for everyone's help and I'll post back if I have more questions!
