I seem to have hit a bit of a snag this session, and by that I mean I think everyone else is dead, or at least a good chunk of them are.
Back story: After my whole run in with the “Witch of Rhyme” and stealing her “Spearkind Specibus” I ended up accidentally destroying my computer, which I think I was supposed to do in hindsight but at the time was an ‘oh shit’ moment. So I made it back to my “Land” and finished off the majority of my “Land Quests” until I got this feeling I should get back on my computer again. After “Alchemizing” a spiffy new one, I noticed none of my co-players were online. So naturally I decided to go check in person, maybe they were all doing game stuff and just happened to be out of touch at the time. I went to go check out the “Witch’s” place first so I could return her “Specibus” in a timely fashion, only to find her dead body, with her head of a spear. None of our enemies have spears or the idea to put heads on pikes. I grabbed her pendant and any other useful things, gave her the best funeral I could, and took off, figuring that since the “Land” looked very dead and her body was half decomposed, there was no one around to “Corpsesmooch” her.
That was two weeks ago, I’ve managed to check three other “Lands” since then, out of six total. The “Land of Cyanide and Happiness”, home to the ever so charming “Ward of Doom” was fine, but he was nowhere to be found, while the “Land of Techno and Lasers and Frogs” where the “Knight of Space” was is dead, as was the “Land of Shields and Surprise” home of the “Grace of Time”. I haven’t found the “Knight’s” body, but I found the “Grace’s” and did the same for her as I did for the “Witch” as she was rather decomposed as well. As I said, the “Ward” is AWOL, and I’m on my way to check the “Land of Shadows and Quicksilver” home to the “Bard of Breath” right now. I checked on “Prospit” and they were holding funerals for the “Knight” and “Witch”, so that was confirmation for them at least that they are very dead.
I’ve been out of the loop, and things look grim, so I guess my questions are these: First, have I somehow wound up in a “Doomed Timeline”? Second, if I am in a “Doomed Timeline”, how do I make it back to the “Alpha Timeline”? Third, if this isn’t a “Doomed Timeline” then how the hell do I figure out what happened? And lastly, can this game still be won with between one and three people, or is this going to be my last hurrah?

It may be possible you wound up in a Doomed timeline. Hard to be sure, unless you're a Time player. If you are in a doomed timeline, then you're not getting back. You need to be able to travel through time for that. And the game can be won by one person, as long as you grab the Space player's pendant so you can breed the frog. Feel free to ask me or genesisArtificer if you have trouble with the frog breeding.

In reverse order: Yes, the session can still be won, even if you're the last one standing. It's going to be a hell of a lot more difficult - especially the Final Battle - but it is possible. Other people have done it before.
Now, for checking to see if you're in a Splinter. If you were Time, it'd be...not easy, but intuitive, at least; you get a sense for it, after a bit. Plus, we have several abilities that help us with that.
I'd ask the Consorts and the carapaces. Check the clouds, if you can. Look at books in either library; if they focus on how this isn't how things were supposed to turn out, how things have gone wrong? You're probably in a Splinter. Don't forget to ask Denizens, either. If they're offering you deals that are suspiciously generous - or even free - then you're definitely in a Splinter. Or you're about to die, one of the two.

Okay, I checked the "Bard of Breath's" Land and it's dead as a doornail too. They hadn't killed their "Denizen" prior to demise so I ended up talking with "Typheus" for a while, no deals, just a lot of grief and sadness. I'm back on my "Land" right now, and none of my "Consorts" seem to know what I'm talking about when I ask about anything outside of my own "Land", as far as they care, everything is peachy keen, despite a metaphorical beautiful lady in black with an ankh escorting pretty much everyone else out of the session.
I still can't get ahold of the "Ward of Doom", his chat handle is offline, and I don't know how else to make sure something bad hasn't happened to him.
Thanks for the help, I'll go ahead and go to the "Library" on "Prospit" and do some "Cloud" gazing, I have to be careful since day after tomorrow is the "Eclipse". In the meantime, I'll track down the "Knight's" body.
EDIT: So I found the "Knight" and the "Bard's" bodies, and the "Knight" was pretty well gone, but the "Bard" looked pretty fresh still, so I applied the standard revival methods to no avail. I still can't quite tell if I'm "Doomed" but so far the signs point to no, though I'm about to go do another round of "Prospit" research to confirm. The "Ward" is still AWOL, but I checked his "Land" again, and it's not so much dead as looks like someone cast "[Shai'Hulud]" but like they cast it a thousand times stronger than anything I could ever do with it. The ground's also has this scorched look to it, like it's all black and stuff and kinda like someone burned squid ink if that makes any sense. My gut's telling me to get the fuck out of here before I die, so I'm going to get back to my "Land" and get to work figuring out where everyone left off at for duties before they died.

Uh, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that sounds like your Ward BT'd and cast [Judgement Day]. Your gut is right: their Land is not a safe place to be right now and won't be for a very long time. I'd suggest getting your Breath player to do a decontamination if they weren't already dead; as-is...well, avoid their Land if you can. If you have to go there, avoid touching anything in the contaminated area. Don't even touch the ground, if you can help it.
The two Duties that absolutely need to be done are ectobiology and frog-breeding. Everything else (save the Scratch, which is a method of last resort) is kind of optional.

Well I got out of there okay, and I managed to stumble my way through at least the "Ectobiology" baby making part, though I'm trying to be a bit more cautious with the whole "Frog" thing. I've basically got it figured out, if I need any specific help I'll post on the "Ectobiology" board.
One thing that is troubling me though, the Ward's still missing and I know once I get the "Frog" made that it's off to "Skaia" and the "Reckoning". If I can I'd like the "Ward" with me for this last adventure since it'll be easier to fight with two people than one. So two things, first, is there any way for me to figure out where he is that means I don't have to go back to his "Land"?
And in case something happens and it's just me, do I honestly stand a chance? I'm "Thief" this session, so I guess I could go with 'Stealing Victory' or something, but when it comes to the actual fight, I figure I'm probably gonna die cuz when "Black King" shows up and ruins everything it's after "Frog Breeding" completes. I guess what I'm asking is does "Fate" get any abilities besides "[Valhalla]" that I can use? And does "Thief" get any good combat abilities? I want to have all the options before I fight, I've got an absolute last resort of emergency "God Tiering" if I absolutely need it, but I'd rather not use it.

First off I'm sorry for the double post. This is probably the end for me, I thought my clever plan to force "God Tier" would work, but apparently "Exiles" can even prevent you casting abilities that frequently backfire when one doesn't pay attention, if you plan to use that ability directly (seriously I thought "[Arrow to the Knee]" would work). So here I am, way too low on the "Eccheladder" because I've been too busy babysitting a frog to dungeon dive, and now I have a dead "Ward of Doom's" head staring down at me from a pike with a note:
YOUARENEXT
So my plan is to try and defeat the "Black King" ASAP, cause I'm not sure I want to meet whatever left that note. I just want to get to a new session and decompress for a few hours or so. I'll likely end up dead unless this is the kind of game where the final boss's strength is adjusted based on party strength, like weapons, levels, ect. So it's likelier that I'm going to my death, but if I do make it out alive, I'm fairly certain I'll be having a panic attack after I make it back. I asked all the "Denizens" left living one last time, but none of them were offering any deals like "Scratches" or anything, so I'm out of options.
As the great prophets spoke back home, don't forget to be awesome.
Good bye

Do you have (or did you have) a Rain player in your session? Because extremely colourful text tends to be a sign that the Voices are talking.

WARNING: Do you have any way of possibly finding out if your session is a Scratched session? Because if it is, and you performed the ectobiology, you're in danger from a monster known as Lord English. He's technically a PK, but he destroys entire sessions; He's a Lord of Time, one of the most dangerous classes.

((MOD MESSAGE: LORD ENGLISH AS A CHARACTER DOESN'T EXIST IN THIS RP. NEITHER DO CHERUBS AS A RACE - TOO OP AND STORY-BREAKING. YOU CAN DROP EXTREMELY OBLIQUE REFERENCES TO LE, BUT THIS IS TREATED LIKE URBAN LEGENDS AMONG REPLAYERS - LIKE SOMEONE THAT ALCHEMIZED A COLORFUL CLOAK THAT IS ASSUMED TO BE JUST RAIN-ASPECTED, OR SIGHTINGS OF "GREEN MOON" POPULATED BY GREEN CARAPACES, WHICH ARE REGARDED AS HOAXES. PLEASE DO NOTE THAT MUSE CLASS IS A REGULAR TITLE THAT ANYONE CAN GET, AND LORD CLASS DOESN'T EXIST.))
