I have a few questions concerning the Skaian Magicant and whether certain things are okay to do or not.
-Can the Skaian Magicant have entrances/exits on Earth, and not just in the Medium? Could a player potentially return to Earth by using the Skaian Magicant?
-Would it be possible for the Magicant to have entrances/exits to worlds other then the home world and the various places in the Medium, such as Alt-Earths or Alt-Alternias?
-Would it be possible for first-time players from Earth and first-time players from Alternia to share the same session without incestuous G-Frog shenanigans? Perhaps through means of a glitch?
-Are kitsunes(fox demons), vampires, changelings(human children raised by faeries), and dhampirs(half-vampires) allowed?
-Would pets automatically be marked Doomed upon entering the Medium? Or does that not apply to them?
-Would it be possible for the Magicant to have entrances/exits to other sessions?
-What aspects would have some sort of control over the Skaian Magicant?(i.e., making entrances/exits, controlling where entrances/exits led, that kind of thing)
-Are we allowed to make up Aspect Abilities?

All except for the last two are "no". V d would have some influence over the Magicant, but nothing really significant unless you're a Cataclysm going off. And yes, you are allowed to make up your own aspect abilities.

Would it be possible for first-time players from Earth and first-time players from Alternia to share the same session WITH incestuos G-Frog shenanigans? And are you sure about things of the supernatural/fantastical variety not being allowed? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I saw a log on here with a charatacter that was a 'were-bear', and one of the options in the drop-down list for race is 'Faun'.

I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of races are allowed, although it's usually better to fluff it as more "psychic alien" and less "magical creature". Magic, generally speaking, is not a thing.

Okay. SO, kitsune/fox demon becomes humanoid alien w/ fox ears, tail and teeth; changeling becomes human raised by winged humanoid aliens; and vampire/dhampire stays same because rainbow drinkers.

The dude who had a were-bear did so without anyone approving it, and we have talked to him. And "Faun" was a class. If you recall, it was what was turned into Clown.

But my previous statement about making them more sci-fi and less magic-like holds true, right?

We prefer newer people to stick with humans or trolls until they prove themselves, really. Is there a specific reason you want to RP as those species?

I already have characters made out for them, actually. From before I found this site. I can make one or two of them human without it affecting their character/personality, but it would be harder for the others.

Note: You theoretically can have a werewolf, changeling, vampire etc as a character race, but you would need to consult it with us. I have a minor character who is a werewolf (that being, human who can transform into wolf, not a species).
Werebear-guys player made a lot of things that contradict our canon. If you have a good concept for that kind of thing that doesn't contradict canon we have and it is not only for making your character "spesshiul" it is mostly ok. Like tT said, after we will know you better (usually with you RPing on IRC) we will know if we can allow it. Kitsunes are... rather a big no, because they have a big potential for "special snowflake syndrom" manifestation
First time players from Earth and Alternia in one universe are... well there were few mixed troll-human native sessions but those were rather clusterfucks of non-intuitive relationships and angst, and they are overplayed, tbh. We have nothing against second sessions being mixed. Those are also clusterfucks, but far more amusing.
You cannot use Magicant as an escape route on Earth. Pets are usually marked as doomed, especially if they are source of comfort (Sburb being a dick, film at eleven). Void Players have intuitive grasp on Magicant topology, but it isn't an ability. Space players are handicapped by Magicants to the point of debilitation in the case of Tacticians and Explorators. Magicant cannot access other sessions.
To sum up: Don't start with your non-standard characters until we will know you better. Don't make Mary Sues, or OP characters. Beta trolls are good point of reference of the highest tier of power a character can have before we will consider it OP. (so, STRONG gets a yes, reality warping àla "I CAN MAKE ALL THE PROBLEMS DISSAPEAR" gets a kick in the nads)

Thanks for the explanations, GA. That really helps. I would go on the IRC if I could, but it's blocked on the computer I'm using at the moment. Also, what is "special snowflake syndrome"? And the only thing I was going for with the kitsune was really the foxy characteristics, not the powers. Those would have been ignored completely.

GOOD IDEA! All I'd have to do to make the characters first name the proper length is change it from Kit to KitKit! Thanks!
