How exactly do Replays work? This part was really, honestly confusing to me. You get... put into another session? So, in a normal session, someone could die and then they would just be replaced by some random guy/girl? They get their title, too? On the subject of titles, this was probably most confusing to me. The player who replays get the old player's title. Is this only relevant to god tiering and gaining their powers, or does the replay(ed?) player gain some personality traits and involuntary things such as the ability to emotionally support people pretty well if they were a Heart player? Thanks.

No. The session has to fail for it to be replaced. There needs to be a complete session wipe, all players die, the Reckoning finishes without the Black King dying and it being stopped, etc. Then the entire session is replaced. If one coplayer dies in the middle of the session, then it just continues as normal.
When you replace someone, you get the role and everything that comes with it. The whisperings, the abilities, the godtier clothing, the lesson to be learned, everything. Someone who replaces Heart would, eventually, if they've been learning Heart right, be good at emotional support. Someone who replaces a Flow player would be hotheaded and driven, someone who replaces Sand would lie their ass off, someone who replaces Light would never shut the fuck up, etc.
And the term for the person you replace is called "replayee"
