=-> Dame: Awake.
Yøu prøcede tø strache yøurself in the mørning. Tø yøur cøntentment, the røøm yøu fell asleep in has nø windøws, and nø sunrays are disturbing yøur freshly øpened eyes. Yøu løøk arøund, wøndering where yøu are, and what this weight øn yøur knees is. The it hits yøu, nearly with a literal førce, the memøries start fløwing again. The win, the reward, and nøw this place. Well, at least are yøu alive, sø yøu guess it cøuld have been wørse. Yøu still have what, six days? Six days left, until the øfficial game release, but the bet∅ cøuld cøme øut any møment. Yøu hønestly just høpe yøu'll gather all yøur cø-players by then. But nøw there's little øther tø dø than expløre, and, as yøu already mapped øut the grøund fløør, it is time tø møve dee∅er. Yøu cøøk yøurself and Cøw-Crøw sømething nøn-sweet, at wich he Crmøøs happily. He seems easy tø please. Then yøu cøntinue øntø yøur new adventure, frøm the røøms yøu searched first, and which yøu claimed yesterday as yøu øperating ba∅e. Tø the unknøwn dephs beløw.
=-> Dame: Descend.
Yøu slide døwn a slide, gøing circularly ar∅und a ladder. In the meantime yøu pester bøth øf yøur chums.
Current sømnølentScatterbrain [CSS] RIGHT N∅W øpened memø øn bøard S∅URB SECØND TAKE.
CSS: Hey guys. CSS: I just want tø say That we may as well talk tø øurselves øn a memø. CSS: As everything we say is imper∅tive før øur survival, we may want tø annøunce it sø that all three øf us can hear it. CSS: I'm currently gøød øn resøurces in my høusehøld, and am just expløring its further cørners. CSS: Sø I'm ba∅ically ready tø play SB∅B. Høw is it gøing før yøu?
Yøu arrive at the bøttøm, an see yøurself tø be in anøther greenhøuse, ør rather, a glass døme. There is a few weapøns øf a marksmans chøice, and a few razørsharp umbrellas. Yøu decide tø capchaløgue a bunch øf them, and be cautiøus. There had tø be sømething here, that made them need a weapøn. That's never a gøød sign. Yøu gø ahead and øpen the glass døør, the ønly thing seperating yøu frøm what is øutside øf it, in the høuse's basement, and in the høuse's basement was. It was høt, and little øf the bright lamp's light frøm abøve shøne thrøugh the thick leaves øf the wild plant-life. Yøu cøuld barely see intø the førset beføre yøu, a perfect place før predatørs and their victims alike. Løt's øf føød, but prøbably alsø a løt øf pøisøn, øh the always present death. Death never leaves yøu, frøm the møment where the universe decided yøu'll play SBU∅. Yøu're nøt sure høw yøu'll be m∅pping any øf this, but yøu take øut yøur cømpass, ør at least øne yøu føund in this høuse, and prøcede in straight lines, løøking øut før characteristic places, while mapping yøur change in pøsitiøn øn the map. If yøu ønly had an easier way øf døing this.
=-> Flux: Be Narrated.
The green leave seemed black, cøvered in shadøws, curving vines grew øn mighty palms. Here and there a løst rattling øf the weak undergrøwth caused the lønely figure tø nearly ju∅p up. The wanderer was lønely, før the ønly cømpaniøn, has been left in the safe zøne, prøtected. The Prøtectør cøntinued døwn the invisible path layed øut in the førest. Søøn the førest gave place tø high grass, which may have been giving møre sight, but, unførtunately, nøt ønly før øur Strøller. Any creature cøuld sit at the førests børder, and wait, unseen, før a randøm passerby tø a∅pear, in which case the said passerby'd be at the whims øf said mønster. Førtunately, the Strider wasn't just any passerby, it was a herø, but øne yet tø be unveiled, øne, whøse great adventures nøt yet have been cast in støne. Øne, whø was nøt yet at full pøtential, but still, was a herø. And sø, as everyøne knøws ønly øne cøuld cøme øut øf this cønflict. The Herø, either prøved wørthy, ør sent tø exile, frøm life. Again, unførtunatly før the Damsel, the ∅reature happened tø be, exist, in this plane øf reality, at exactly that pøint, at exactly that time, and wøuldn't it be før the cønstant cautiøn, untrust in the unstable envirønment, øf øur herø, might it have been the latter øptiøn. The strøy nevertheless cøntinued, the struggle began, the herø finally caught nøt at disadvantage, but by a wørthy øppønent. A battle øf epic prøpørtiøns began, bøth the herø, and the creatur∅, ør even møre, the king øf all creatures, nøt wanting tø back øf a bit. The Creature saw in the herø a rival, anøther challenger øf his pøsitiøn, furthermøre øn his territøry. The herø, recøgnizing the m∅dness in the King's Eyes, was genuinely afraid, but nøt før the self, but før the cømpaniøn left upstairs, as this rampaging beast cøuld surely nøt be støpped by glas and metal. The herø saw the beast tø be bøund here ønly by the beasts øwn will, and the will thereøf was right nøw being brøken, in pair with its mind, and søul, by its rage. And while being aware øf the dangers, and even whining abøut them, the herø wasn't yet finished in maturity, the Damsel pressed øn, step by step gaining advantage øver the mindless beast. As the la∅t hit was thøught tø be døne thøugh, the beast ønly slumbered, nøt yet dead, but uncønciøus. The Dame had nø heart tø destrøy such a beautiful specimen, but punishment før its deed, attacking the Dame, wøuld cøme. The Dame let the Tests be∅in.
=-> Dame: Cease.
Yøu støp desecrating the nøw dead cørpse, every bit øf inførmatiøn stripp∅d øf it. This creature was nøt ønly tremendøus in size, but alsø excelling in cømbat, and resilient tø møst øf yøur hits. Nø wønder, that after yøu capchaløgued it the name øn its card was 'King øf Baesh'lh' This had tø be søme kind øf bøss. What a shame SBURB was nøt yet gøing an, yøu'd get a tøn øf grist før him. At least yøu gø his capcha cøde, tested his resistance tø ∅ny pøssible substance, skinned him, pøured søme acid øn him, gøuged his eyes øut, and then mercifully killed him. But nøw yøu're finished, yøur have søme very resistant, and møre impørtantly thin and white hide, øu∅ øf which yøu're sure yøu'll be able tø sew søme kind øf heat resistant, scratch that, everything resistant suit. Yøu'll prøbably be even able tø make a labcøat øut øf the leftøvers if yøur calculatiøns are cørrect. If it wasn't før ∅he scar øver yøur left eye, and the yøu're pretty sure at least disløcated left leg, and a few scratches here and there, yøu'd even be able tø call this a gø∅d day. Før nøw, thøugh, it isn't and yøu'll have tø return tø yøur øperatiøn base tø get yøurself gøing øperatiønal. Yøu scamper away, tø lick yøur wøunds, nøt a single creature stepping intø yøur path, øut øf respect, fear, ør møstly, a mix øf bøth. Yøu might nøt knøw this y∅t, but the King is still alive, and it is nøw yøu.
=-> Dame: Før nøw, be sømeøne else.

You are the someone else. It is you.
==> Wake up and get the memo You do. And you respond.
cC: You are a master of organization and preparedness, sS. cC: You've got a memo, you've looked for resources, and your exploring the house. cC: Whereas all I've done is fail to remember things, talk to you and iD, and find some heat resistant clothes. cC: I guess I'll go see how I'm doing on resources.
==> Take inventory You decide to check the kitchen first. If that guide is any indication, alchemizing food doesn't work.
Or was that in the guide? You're not sure.
Anyway, you check the kitchen. You know that there must be something. There were random cookies yesterday.
==> Open that suspiciously large cabinet Ok, you d-
Why are there so many baked goods.
What is this.
I don't even.

=-> Dame: Ascend.
This søunds tø easy and is tø hard. It seems as if yøu were right in assuming yøur hip is disløcated. This is gøing tø hurt extremely, nø matter what yøu'll dø, but tø at least be able tø møve øn, yøu cøunt. It's really gøød yøur bødy has nø secrets frøm yøu, øne øf the many advantages øf having been a Mage øf ∅. Yøu cløsely inspect yøur limp bødy part, and pøsitiøn it ∅n the right directiøn, The ønly∅thing yøu need nøw is a great førce, and a løt øf pain killers, øf which the latter ønes are certainly nøt in yøur pøsitiøn. Yøu shøuld prøbably have søme arøund yøu all the time, but yøu asume, yøu'd quickly get addicted tø them if that'd be the case. Yøu put yøu leg between the røck and a hard place, ør møre literaly, between the grøund and yøur trusty, nøn-spiky flail. Yøu hit hard, and it hurts hard. Yøu are nigh the levels øf pain yøu ha∅, while being øutside, but the feeling is different. Instead øf the sensatiøn øf pressure in yøur head building up tø an expløsiøn, yøu feel simple sharp pain. Yøu can deal with sharp pain. Sharp pain is ønly tempørary∅ Regrettably, as the sharp pain recedes, dull pain cømes up. It's the sørt øf pain yøu hate, but are able tø live with. It feels uncømførtable, b∅t yøu get used tø it. And nøw yøur limbs are mainly functiønable. Yøu løøk upwards, at the ladder. Sliding døwn will have been surely cønsiderably shørter, than climbing up, take yøu're in the state yøu are in nøw. Yøu turn øn Pesterchum's vøice-tø-text functiøn, and ∅scend,while trying tø ignøre the pain øf every single rung yøu climb.
CSS: Løøk at it this way. I have all øf these things, but are alsø nearly dead, while SBURB hasn't even started yet. CSS: I'm careless and sømehøw succeed tø fail at everything, because øf it, even thøugh I knøw I am, which means I shøuld try tø a∅ it. CSS: Yøu're at least alive and in a gøød shape, ør that's what I suppøse yøu are in. CSS: I really høpe yøu're nøt in the state I am in right nøw. It hurts. Scientifically prøven. CSS: Althøugh yøu prøbably shøuld prepare søme resøurces, we døn't knøw the exact date S∅RB hits us. CSS: And remember, yøu tøø Ine, Døn't get killed. CSS: I'll gø li∅k my wøunds, and then cøntinue being a hypøcrite, nøt having learned anyhing.
Yøu reach the treetøp, and ønly the yøu realize yøu førgøt tø put øn yøur gøggles. Yøu tøøk them øff as the Ki∅g tøøk a slash at yøur eyes, as he slash was far away enøugh frøm yøur face tø nøt tø hit it, while it might have scratched the gøggles. Yøu still døn't have a spare pair, and yøu'd be stuck in the høuse until yøu'd get the alchemi∅er. This ør blind, whereas nøne øf the øptiøns seem pleasant tø yøu. Yøu still wøuld have tø sømehøw retrieve SBURB frøm the mailbøx. Anyway, yøu have nøw reached the treetøp, and are tempørarily blinded by the light øf the lamps hanging everywhere. Yøu cøver yøur eyes with yøur hand, and decide it'd be a gøød time tø reequip the gøggles. Yøu dø sø, and everything returns tø nørmal. Yøu prøcede yøur strug∅le against gravity, pain, and this ladder.

==> Care for your friend's safety cC: Crap, are you all right? cC: Or, well, more alright than your ability to respond would indicate? cC: I get the feeling you're gonna get an active class. Based on what you've told me. cC: Hmm. I wonder how possible it would be to get together in person. cC: I, for one, don't like only barely knowing how the only two people I can communicate with are faring. cC: If our houses were close enough, maybe. cC: Anywho, I'm all good on supplies. cC: Even without the generous supply of mundane food, I seem to have a cabinet overloading with baked goods. cC: I suppose I'll leave you with the code for the heatproof clothing. cC: In case we get in the game and I can't get it to you, or you can somehow figure out how to use it without an alchemiter. cC: It's H3Apr00f.
==> Actually friggin DO something You actually friggin do something. By which you mean, you take a page out of Somnia's book and start mapping out the house. The monochrome rooms do make the map easy to color code, at least, and you found some kind of colored writing utensils. You're messing around in some kind of greenhouse when you, I dunno, pull a plant or something, and fall in a random trap door.

The child in yøu takes øver, and yøu press it, in an epic møtiøn, swinging yøur fist frøm øver yøur head øntø the beførementiøned red øne, at the same time rightening yøur gøggles, and shøuting 'Før Science!'. The høuse starts trembling, as t∅ø bøøkcases øpen in frønt øf yøu, the cløck∅ in this røøm start desynchrønising, and then ring cøntinuøusly. Where there were the bøøkcases nøw there is nøthing, but the change hasn't støpped. Sømething was cøming, and it was cøming quick. Yøu put yøur head inside the shaft that was øpened and løøk døwnwards, ønly nøt tø see any end tø it. While yøu døn't see ør hear anything yet, yøu feel pressure starts tø førm in yøur ears. Yøu retrieve yøur head with great swiftness, just in time tø see a bløck øf metal seemingly appearify in frønt øf it. What mighty speed, yøu nearly didn't see it møve. What a terrible førce, and used før what… [blop] The døør øpens, and, wit∅ a søund øf hissing, the pressure evens øut. What yøu see in frønt øf yøu seems tø be… an elevatøt. =-> Dame: Descend.That will have tø wait. This time y∅u'll prepare.

==> STRIFE! You strife with the owl like creature for a long time. After a while, though, it occurs to you that neither of you seem to be trying to kill the other. It's almost as if the fight is more...sporting than deadly.
You pause for a moment, looking it in the eye.
It speaks: Hah! I haven't had that good of a workout in centuries!
The following conversation then takes place: You: Wait, you can talk? Workout? What? Owl Thing: What, you didn't think I could speak? And what do you mean, "workout?"? You: Erm, well, the last time I encountered a creature of your... caliber, I suppose, it was mindless, and trying to kill me. Owl Thing: Ah, the wild ones. No matter, I'm not like them, don't worry. You: Ok. Good. I rather enjoy knowing a creature that doesn't try to kill me. You: So... In centuries? Is that how long you've been down here? Owl Thing: Yeeup. The old master kept me down here, though I don't recall why. You: Old master? Owl Thing: Of the house, that is. Master of the house. I certainly wouldn't call one who traps me in a dark room with barely any sustenance a master. You: Ah. You: Barely any sustenance? Well, let's change that. Let's go up, there's enough baked goods in the house to feed 10 of you for a year. You: Besides, that "workout" worked up an appetite in me, also.
==> Eat and chat with your new friend. You do that.
You: Hey, do you have a name? Owl Thing: ...Not that I can recall. You: Mind if I pick a name for you? Owl Thing: No problem. You: How about...Cloudy? Owl Thing: Sure. Hey, you never told me your name. You: Well, your not the only one whose forgotten. I've been going by Grey.
You enjoy your time with your new friend.

After checking the rest øf the su∅piciøus places, and finding nøne øf the øthers this spectacular, møst øf them just pøørly hidden hidden studies just as the øne yøu føund first. Yøur bønes feeling well again, and after making søme tests as tø measure øut the elevatørs survivalness, yøu feel ready tø descend. Yøu have pack supplies in case yøu cannøt return tø the surface, but alsø checked if the elevatør returns, and it døes. Yøu just høpe it i'll alsø wørk after it has descended with yøu. Yøu decide tø, this time, take Cømpaniøn with yøu. Yøu get yøurself intø the elevatør, and pøsitiøn yøurself cømførtably. Then yøu p∅ess the buttøn. The døør sløwly, øminøusly cløses. Fish-Cøw løøks at yøu, almøst pleading yøu, tø finish this madness, but it's already tøø late. The elevatør starts falling. First sløwly, almøst unnøticable, but søøn gravity seems tø be weaken. After a gøød while, bøth yøu and Cøw-Crø∅ fløat freely, øbliviøus tø the øutside. And then the reverse begins tø happen. Yøu are søøn pressed against the ceiling øf the elevatør, at first still being able tø stand, but then the actiøn getting cønsiderably harder. Yøu are nøw lying against th∅ hard, and cøld metal, yøur lungs grasping før breath, Fish-Crøw seems tø have fainted. Sø it was a stupid idea again, all aløng. Yøu are øn the edge øf breaking. Yøu were starting tø feint, apparently nø bløød foløwing intø the nøw tøp part øf yøur brain. And suddenly yøu fall døwn, reality, and the fløør, cøming upøn yøu. But møstly the fløør. Yøur head hurts, but yøu still wønder. With the ac∅eleratiøn yøu had, let aløne the veløcity, yøu'd be sure tø die. Yet sømehøw yøu survived. It seemed tø yøu, as if in the last møment, all veløcity was ∅ed. Yøu'd have tø get møre tests øn this elevatør. That's før sure, but with better equipment than yøu have righ∅ nøw.
=-> Dame: Øbserve.
Yøu finally løøk arøund, in this tremendøusly huge cavern yøu had beføre yøu.∅And sømeøne bøthered enøugh tø make every bit øf it illuminated by the light øf what seemed tø be thøusands øf lamps. While the upside was cøvered with respectively great in size stalactites, it had near tø nø stalagmites, as all the fløør was flattened øut, tø høuse what yøu saw in f∅ønt øf yøur eyes. It was yøur sisters høuse, ør at least just an urban høuse replica∅ as all øf them løøked the same. Yøu wønder shørtly what purpøse it has, in a place like this∅ and finding nøne, yøu decide tø investigate it.
=-> Dame: Enter.
