Okay, at the recommendation of unfathomableArchitect(after I asked), I am moving this, and all further updates to HERE, instead of keeping it in the "Hellos" board.
Here's our current layout.
Player list: Me(John Jameson), Age 15, Guide of Space(?) Derek Long, Age 19, Witch of Time(?) Jack Bowie, age 16. Heir of Breath(?) Jake Daniels, age 17, Page of Heart Jane Allen, age 19, Thief of Light(?) Danielle Brown, Age 18, Seer of Mind(?) [Okay, aside from Jake, we have ZERO confirmations. We just got in yesterday, and I know the Full Titles after getting an audience with the Queen.]
Nonplayer list, aka: List of People We Are Trying Like Hell To Keep Alive: Janice "Jan" Bowie, Age 12, Jack Bowie's little sister. Diane "Sis" Jameson, Age 20, my older sister.
Possibly entered: James "Bro" Jameson, Age 25, my older brother. He worked within walking-distance of my house, worked unpredictable hours, and leaves the house silently.
Player chain:
Jake => Me => Jack => Jane => Danielle => Derek => Jake
Order of entrance: Me Danielle Jack Jake Derek Jane
Prototypings: Me: Road map pre-entry, Jimmy(my cat) post-entry.[Okay, he attacked the Sprite. Prototyped himself. His fault, not mine] Danielle: Pillow Jack: Ragdoll[Courtesy of his sister] Jake: Final Fantasy XIII[Derek did his Witch-y thing over the Server/Client connection] Derek: Fan Jane: Karaoke Machine
Weapon list: Me: Axekind(Hate axes. Currently wielding: Dual-Edged Great Axe) --Sir Callahan of Bratwurst: Bladekind(Captchacard Monster. Currently wielding: Chinese Officer's Sword) --Sis: Fistkind(Don't piss her off. I've seen her make holes in walls. Currently wielding: Morph Gun ~ Jak 3)
Danielle: Needlekind(2xNeedlekind if you want to be technical. Currently wielding: Wands of Elder and Holly)
Jack: Hammerkind(Currently wielding: Condotterio Warhammer) --Janice: Knifekind(Currently wielding: Dragoon Dirk)
Jake: Gunkind(Currently wielding: Maschinepistole 40, Full-Auto C96 Mauser as backup / Whatever thing he makes with his Heart Thing)
Derek: Bladekind(Currently Wielding: Musashi Shinai ~ Apparently grants an EXP boost)
Jane: Staffkind(Currently Wielding: Summoner's Staff)
Echeladder rungs(Marked as Levels, because I'm lazy) Me: Level 7 --Sir Callahan: Level 5 Danielle: Level 5 Jack: ???(He hasn't said anything, yet) Jake: Level 17(Bastard figured out the Heart Thing shortly after entry. Apparently, he's got anger issues he keeps in check via meditation. Which only serves as ammo with the Heart Thing) Derek: Level 6 Jane: Level 3
Lands: Me: Land of Stars and ???? and Frogs Danielle: Land of Books and Dice Derek: Land of Clockwork and Zephyr Jake: Land of Fields and Mountains Jack: Land of C???? and R???? Jane: Land of M???? and C???? (Danielle found mention of LOCAR and LOMAC in a book in one of the libraries in her Consort Village, alongside LOSAF, LOBAD, LOCAZ, and LOFAM)
Current objectives: Track down Skaian Magicant Unite group, drop off nonplayers, assuming they survive the trip there. Divide into two groups, Group A(Witch, Page, Thief), and Group B(Seer, Guide, Heir), grind Grist together, build up Dwelling Spires together, go questing together, grind levels together, and overall, stick together. Track down my untyped Strife Specibus that was launched out of my Dwelling Spire twelve hours ago.
Current non-arms equipment: Journal ~ Contains all Captchalogue codes I've come across, if any of my coplayers find something neat, I ask for the code and jot it down. I have twenty-nine copies of the base code for it(Containing the codes of practically every item in my house) stashed around. (Code of the journal-containing-journal-containing-journal are stashed therein.
Personal computers(Me): CompuSpecs[mixed Shades with my Dream Laptop Ghost Image] 2 TB Laptop[mixed Sister's Laptop with my Desktop] (Codes of both are logged in the journal)
As you can see, I came prepared. I've been on the fora for a week or two, and have been in Sburb for a day. Advice and tips would be appreciated.

THIS PLAN LOOKS PRETTY STABLE, BUT, BY MY EXPERIENCE, PLANS CAN, WITH GREAT EASE, GO TOTALLY F.U.B.A.R.
FOR FINDING THE MAGICANT, YOU'RE BEST HELPING SOMEONE ELSE DO IT, BOTH FOR THE ROLEPLAY BONUS, BUT ALSO BECAUSE AS A SPACE PLAYER, FINDING THE MAGICANT IS EASY DUE TOO YOUR INSANE SPACIAL AWARENESS. BEING INSIDE IT IS TORTURE FOR THEM, HOWEVER.

That's why I've got backup plans. Admitedly, two thirds of them involve me grinding levels so I can Physics Spam with Portals, but still, I've got plans.
Also, who do you think I'm guiding? I'm guiding my whole group! I'm guiding my sister to safety(Myself leading her there, personally), Jack so he can can take his sister to safety, Jake so he can get out of his hell-hole-ish Land, Derek so he can meet back up with Jane, and vice versa, and finally, Danielle wants to give a research report, I'm guiding her to where she can.
Because of this, I appear to be doing fairly well when it comes to the RC... Or is that ARC?...
...Anyway, that Heart Thing gets creepier and creepier the more I hear about it. As it turns out, through questing, Jake can get "Access Cards" for shopping in the Stations scattered across his Land. The weapons and items they sell are really expensive. But, from what he tells me, really good, too. The problem is that he can't seem to access the Boondollars he earns from leveling up. As such, he has to sell random crap that drops off the not-imp Underlings. Recently, he told me that while questing, he stumbled across a ridiculously large tortoise(If I were to guess? Half the distance from your Dwelling Spire to the first gate? That tall, and heavy enough that it caused tremors if it stomped). He ripped out it's Shiny, turned it into a weapon, blew the thing's own head off with it, got a boatload of Grist, some stuff worth a decent chunk of Boondollars... And promptly collapsed in exhaustion when he landed over by a Safety Crystal, whatever those things are called. While I'm glad that we could potentially get powerleveled by one of our own, I still want to throttle Derek for that.
...Aaaaanyway, is there any way to make additional Alchemiters? ...Beyond alchemizing them?... CAN you alchemize them?

"ARC", it's a very important stat based on how well you're playing your "Title" and "Aspect". I'm actually thinking of writing a beginners guide to it at some point. Basically there's two major interpretations of your "Mythological Role", the "Person who Title Description's the Aspect" and "Person who Title Description's through the use of the Aspect". There's other interpretations but those tend to go on a case by case basis. So for example my "Native Role" ("Heir of Life") is "One who inherits responsibility of Life" and "One who inherits responsibility through Life". Like I said there are other interpretations too, but as long as you're following what you and the game agree is a valid interpretation of the "Role" you're in good shape.
"Heart" is actually a pretty cool "Aspect" it sounds weird, but it's no more dangerous than any other "Aspect" unless mishandled. Just make sure you keep an eye on when he's using his power over "Shinies" as there are some "Shinies" you don't want to touch and they can have a bad effect on the player.
The proper term for the crystal you mentioned is a "Crystalanth", and they are important to note the locations of, because they'll provide healing as well as nutrition as long as you're on your "Land". But "Safety Crystal" works too.
I'm not terribly concerned with the tortoise itself, you mentioned he prototyped FFXIII in there correct? Sounds like you're going to have Adamantoise as "Imps" now. I'd make a Steelguard joke here but you'll all have to be careful until you get higher on the "Eccheladder". Also if you see more than one of those things get out of the area because you'll have wandered into an "Atomik Ebonpyre". Those things were hard enough to kill when mortal danger wasn't in the mix, stay away from those at least until you're in the later stages of "Land Quests". Tell your "Heart" bro not to take on any more either by himself, if he passes out alone and that thing had friends, then he may need a "corpsesmooch".
Making another "Alchemiter" from what I hear it's extremely dangerous and has a ridiculous "Grist Cost". Don't try and do anything to make another one, the code has a set limit for those deployments (one per player) and if you try and make more it'll mess with the code a lot.

Actually, I think those are rarer. Someone back in the "Hello!" topic mentioned that Sburb will make your life hell with whatever you prototype? Guess what? Various types of non-Imp underlings. I think they use mini-boss scripts. He mentioned running into a hallway full of vanilla(Term, not literal) Imps before he hit his Gate. Taking a wild guess and saying that things with no opposable thumbs tend to have difficulties climbing the Dwelling Spire. I assume they're underlings. The Adamantoise, as well as the wolf-things both dropped Grist, as well as some miscellaneous item on occasion. I told him to never, ever, ever do that(Heart-thing on the not-hostile-to-begin-with Adamantoise) again ever until we meet and group up. Tale of his Land is basically that, instead of the usual "Denizen is shitting on your land" stuff, the Denizen is wrecking his land by being a fal'Cie. Turning Consorts into l'Cie, and(since none of them are all that bright) eventually Cie'th. Also, the Consort Villages are equally filled with Cie'th and Cie'th Stones. He has it rough. He's ALLLLLLL ALLLOOOONNNEEE. Just him and the mobs. The game gave him a couple saving graces to balance it out, Crystalanth's are more common(He claims to have seen a couple dozen, I've only seen six.), enemies occasionally drop buffing items(Fortisol and Aegisol), and he can buy weapons and items at various Stations. And... ...That SOB's already level 22. I just got to Level 10! Darn it! ...Anyway. Enemies, he mentioned, would have made mincemeat out of me and... Basically anyone else. Only reason he's survived thus far is from abusing his Heart Thing. Also explains how he's gotten so high in the levels. Says they have spells, both status-based and AoE. Plus, some of them can summon ADDITIONAL monsters.
As long as my Denizen isn't suddenly a fal'Cie, all will be right in the world.
Off that topic, I am Guide-ing my team to a certain point in Space, which may lead them to my World. Threw in the Whispering name for my motivation for good measure.
We all seem to be doing well. Jane learned how to Steal today. She also now has eighty-something Strife Specibi in her Sylladex. I sent her the code for a baseball card folder, she now has a portfolio of Strife Specibi she doesn't want in her Strife Portfolio. She tried sending me the code back, but the stupid thing was illegible.
So... Bringing an Alchemiter into the Skaian Magicant isn't a viable option?

My understanding of Magicants is they're pretty friggin' huge and easy to navigate for the most part, but sometimes they can be a bit mazelike, like some mansion designed by some bullshit clown of a billionaire who's also Batman and The Joker at the same time.
Given their nature as a theorized debug room you may, and I do mean may, be able to find an alchemiter in one.
Otherwise it's gonna take higher level shenanigans than it's worth to get an alchemiter in there.

Ouch, fal'Cie "Denizen"... If the majority of "Consort Villages" weren't Cie'th already, I'd say his "Land Reputation" would be tanked. I get the feeling that whatever their Focus was is gonna end up being what his "Land Quests" are all about. Hopefully you won't all get turned into l'Cie.
Don't worry too much about the "Alchemic Codes" getting messed up, that happens a lot, at least in my experience. Also just a heads up if some of your stuff goes missing, don't start trying to "Strife" with her, especially not after accusing her of stealing it. It's not fair to either of you. Just ask she return it as soon as it is convenient for her to do so.
How's your personal stuff progressing? And any news of your other coplayers?

In actuality, he seems to be doing well. Whatever Consorts that haven't turned l'Cie have accepted him with open arms. He's obtained a second title, from what I've heard, "The Grand Redeemer". He's just been running around, doing the RPG Thing Cie'th Stone quests. And, apparently, helping doomed ancestors/siblings is a good way to get the approval of the locals. ...Err... Paws... Claws? He has crocodile Consorts. He actually says they are pretty nice. You know. When they aren't l'Cie sent to off him. The ones that are, are apparently fairly apologetic. They don't want to off him(Except the ones that do), but they have to try. Also, he almost lost his hand when he tried doing the Heart Thing to the l'Cie brand. It started crystalizing, but it quickly receded when he stopped. Derek, in a fit of intelligence, advised him to never do that again, or else he might get a second-hand l'Cie brand. Aaaaand... The prototyping effects are affecting our Lands. No l'Cie Consorts(Yet...), but an Imp casted a spell that looked eerily similar to Firaga. Then again, it was also wearing a hat.
I'm still doing Land Quests, gathering Land Rep. It's gotten to the point that puppies(I have dog consorts) will run to me... And then promptly go to my sister. Because dogs just like her.
Next... Okay, I'm following my gut to find this darned Magicant. I read in the FAQ that it can also appear in the ground. Is that tr-OOH!
*CRASH!* *Thud*
...Okay... How do I use this thing? Oh, I talk and it types? That's good. ...Wait... It's writing this down? Umm... Delete!... Uhh... Backspace? Baaaaackspaaaaaaccceee!!! Damn it! Okay, I'll tell it to you guys straight. John fell through an invisible hole in the ground, I hopped in after him, wound up in this strange area. John turned, looked at me with a pained look on his face, then his eyes crossed and he collapsed. Uhh... Help? ...Okay, how do I post replies-

Good news: you just found the Magicant. Bad news: your Space player found it first.
Space players and the Magicant don't get along well - the spatial fuckery that goes on in there just...doesn't mesh well with their senses. It sounds like an extreme reaction for someone playing Space the first time, but everyone's different.
Carry him to the nearest exit and get him out of there soon. Try to avoid touching any clocks you may find in there, while you're looking for the exit.

Uh-huh-hugh... My head... What happened? ...Sis? Okay, I'm going to blindly remove things from my Sylladex. Tell me when I find the aspirin.
Alright. ...Hat...Pillow... Ew, you actually captchalogued one of- Ack! That was an iron! Kettle. Water bottle. Journal-
GIMME! ... ...Phew. That was worrying.
...Okay... Whoa! You could have said you were starting agai- ASPIRIN!
OH THANK YOU.
*Gulp. Slurrrrp*
Okay, that's a little better. Head's still pounding. But I should be fine as long as I don't see any bright colors. Thankfully, LOSAF is full of nice, muted colors underneath a star-soaked sky. I should be- OHGODMYHEAD! THE PINK! IT HURTS! RIGHT! Back down go the eyelids! Okay, my sister absconded with me to Jack's land. Kept complaining about how pink it was. I agree. This is definitely NOT a good place for a person with a migraine. ...Sis? I'm going to blindly remove things from my Sylladex. Tell me when I find the sunglasses.
Ugh. Here we go again. Thanks Ms. Apparati! ...HOLY- Sledgehammer! Ugh. This is going to take a while. Post reply!

...Okay, the headache's wearing off, and we're resting by a Crystalanth. Thanks for that, sA. I really appreciate it. BTW. That was my 'doomed' sister. The Skaian Magicant is where she is STAYING... Right after I meet up with Jack. Okay, we've marked the place by breaking a sledgehammer, and stabbing it into the ground around the edges. Beyond taking a buttload of aspirin before entering, is there any way for a Guide of Space to get through there without suffering immense head-pain? I mean, this is ju- WHOA! ... ... ... ...Welp, that's a sign that Jack's nearby. A great flipping blue tornado just tore a new valley in Jack's Land. ...HOLY- ...Well. That was convenient. An Imp survived the tornado, was thrown, came right at us... And landed on the Crystalanth, skewering it. Nifty. ...Okay, pushed the corpse off. it exploded into grist... Okay, a few hunks of Grist just fell, so it didn't explode, but you get the idea. Anyway, some liberal towel usage later, I now have TOWELS OF IMP BLOOD(To go with the Fora's oddball tendency to fully capitalize the word), and the corpse is no longer around to be a Raider decoration.

Okay, people. Got an update. Been monkeying around with the Alchemy system, because we(Me, my sister, Jack and his sister) are at Jack's Dwelling Spire, I have plenty of Grist(And Derek sent me the code for something called "GristTorrent". Jake has a SHITLOAD of Grist), and... Nothing better to do, really. As it turns out, [(Camera Tripod && MG42) && Laser Pointer] || Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 = Proximity Turret. All we need to do is check on it periodically to make sure the thing has ammo (any bullet && Gun A = bullet for Gun A. Fairly cheap until you hit the RPG ammo. And don't get me STARTED on the Fat Man ammo...), rapidly gather any scattered Grist, and we're good. Also, don't try Proximity Turret && Turret Plushie. That just creates an Aperture Science Turret. And those things are stupid. And creepy.
Also, got a question. If I make a crossover story by doing (Book A && Book B) or (Book A || Book B), copy down the resulting story, assuming it makes one, and upload it to a fanfiction website... Is that plagarism? Because I just made the most epic Harry Potter/Island in the Sea of Time crossover fic ever.
Okay... Listing notable results from splurge. * FM = Fetch Modus Array FM && Final Fantasy Origins = Inventory FM (Notes: Okay... Exactly like Array, but with text listing the objects instead of pictures. Moving on)
Array FM && Cook Book = Recipe FM (Notes: HOLY- Guys? This thing not only tells you the components of whatever you put in it, it also has PICTURES of the objects! Think about it for a minute. Now, think about it in conjunction with the Pictionary fetch modus... Yeah. If only there was a way to do that without having to use my PoS short term memory.)
Hat && Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark = Indy's Fedora (Notes: EEEEEPPPIIIICCCC!!!! And cheap! Also, lacking Indy's hat's ability of not getting holes in it.)
Aperture Science Turret && (200 Foot Drop && Dishwasher) = Pile of Scrap (Okay, I admit, that wasn't alchemy. But I was tired of getting holes in my new hats.)
Claw-Grabby-Thing || Rifle = Grabby Rifle Grabby Rifle && The Orange Box = Gravity Gun (Notes: HOLY SHIT!)
Dual-Edged Great Axe || Condotterio Warhammer = Headsplitter (Notes: You know those handled log-splitter things? Think that. It's Hammerkind, sadly... Wait...)
Condotterio Warhammer || Dual-Edged Great Axe = Condotterio Great Axe (Notes: ...Blast.)
Captchalogue Card && Scanner-Copier Printer = Captchalogue Copier (Note: ...Sweet, man. Put a Captchalogue Card on the top, hit copy, and it prints out a Ghost Image of the item. Requires some Captchalogue Cards in the printer tray, but that's okay. They only cost a couple Build Grist a pop, anyway.) (Re:Note: Ooh! Using the Scan function produces a viable Ghost Image from pictures! Hell-lo GameStop Gift Magazine!) (Re:Re:Notes: ...Crap. As it turns out, you need a clear picture. One not cluttered with other objects, in order to get the Ghost Image, or else it simply prints the Ghost Image for the page/picture it's printed on.) (Re:Re:Re:Notes: BLECH! Okay, food made from the codes from this? Tastes JUST as crappy as if you Captchalogued it and alchemized it.
Burned CD containing Iji && Morph Gun = Nano Gun (Notes: Thing weighs an effing ton. Jake, however, thinks it's the most epic gun he hasn't made. Has already sent me back the codes for the respective ammo. Smart man.)
Array Fetch Modus || Watch && Fallout 3 = CaptchaBoy 3000 (Notes: !!!!! DUDE. SWEE- Nope. Thing insists I can only lug around a hundred and fifty pounds. I know I have at least four hundred in my Sylladex. Will send to Dreamself later.) (Re:Notes: ...Redisributing code. That wasn't 150 LBS as my cap, that was 150 items. Equal to the amount of Captchalogue Cards I put in.)
Bucket && (Gold Wedding Band || Brother's Porn Stash) = Gilded Filial Pail. (Notes: ...Um... What? ...Am I missing something here?)
Any recommendations for items? While you guys recommend things, I am going to try drawing this "Intellibeam Laserstation" thing. 100k Build Grist for something I don't even know what does? Get real!
P.S: Camping out over here. Got word from Derek and Danielle that they've found entrances to the Skaian Magicant, and are camping out in there, using the Alchemiter they found there and the codes in my Journal to come up with some pretty dang nice beds. Derek's built Jake up to the second Gate. Get this, the lucky SOB got his hands on a Chocobo Underling. I am going to STRANGLE him! I want a chocobo!... Anyway, he's traipsing around my Land, asking my Consorts about where I was last seen. Jack has Janice building up Jane's house so she can do the same over on Danielle's land. Danielle said she'd head out and wait for her, but Derek said "I already have it covered, apparently". Taking a wild guess, and assuming Time Shenanigans.
