I would say the more the merrier. Having more players allows for more interaction, and, since this is a collaborative effort, the RP will have more hands forging it thus making it stronger. There is also the horrible chance that some of our players may need to drop and thus the RP isn't as likely to die. It's not something I want to happen, but it is something that we must consider. I'd say cap it here though. To many bellows extinguish the fire.

SC's human here. And I'm more than alright with increasing the pool of possible dead bodies.

Okay, so unless anyone has any problems with this arrangement, we will have 7 players. I honestly believe that this should be our maximum.
We do have a slight problem though; if we're using our profile characters, we will have an overlap of classes, since there is both a Waste of Dream and a Waste of Rage. Honestly, while having repeats for Titles is a glitch that wouldn't be hard to implement, I'd rather not have something so...bluh. That particular bug doesn't add anything to the story, and I'm not a fan of it. Really, the act of becoming the Heir Aspirant of your land, and mastering your specific Title/Aspect combob is a quest that should be unique to every player, and having more than one player sharing a single Title or Aspect throws off the 'growing up' angle by quite a bit. Personally, I'd like for there to be no repeats in either Title or Aspect, just to make the story more interesting.

Alright, I'm willing to change my character for the sake of diversity in the roleplay. I probably should have been paying a little attention to the characters to notice that issue beforehand, but oh well, I'm something about it now.
Anyhow, I got a Witch of Sand (marvelousMajokko) and a Sylph of Blood(dementedDamsel), both are ready to go. So just tell which would the most appropriate for the roleplay.

DM -> Thank you very much for understanding! I like the idea of a Sylph of Blood, actually. Social cohesion, reinforcement, invulnerability and all of that. I think it'll be a very nice addition to the party.
TG -> You, sir, are a new favorite. This is my first attempt at running a Sburb 'session', so I'm still not quite proficient in all of the little jigsaw pieces that need to be created in order for the big picture to finally form. Thank you for creating the Google Doc; I believe we'll use that.
This is shaping up to be quite the exciting game!
EDIT: TG -> Hope you don't mind, but I also added a 'Thematic Color' and 'Fetch Modus' section. More will probably be added to keep track of later, such as what players prototype and so on.

Wow, this seems really interesting! Shame you've reached your player limit already, but this looks like a really good story.

Wow, so after only two or so days we've already got seven characters, each rearing to go for their next Sburb session. That was fast.
Anyway, I'd like to set up a few suggestions for how everything's going to work. Speak up if anything particularly irks you or if you have a helpful suggestion.
Posts will (probably) be done in second-person writing style, like the actual comic. This is more aesthetic, but I personally find the reminiscence to be pleasing to read. Of course, with the lack of pictures, feel free to be as descriptive as you'd like with the actual occurrences. Perhaps even putting the description itself into a different typing style or [Even in brackets], whatever you feel is better. Or you can just keep with the second-person style the entire time, whatever floats your boat.
I edited my first post of this thread to show a short list of the characters currently playing, and their respective Mythological Roles. For the sake of simplicity, I'll consider the order the players actually begin playing to be the same as the order in which they joined this RP thread, which is the same order that they are listed there. Each player will be the Server player for the player above them in the list, and the first player (me) will be doing a single not-mobius completely logical reacharound to the last player on the list.
Since this is obviously the horrible bastard version of Sburb, we've all already gone through it at least once. For those that haven't read the specifics of 'The game will never stop' (in chapter 18A), the players here have been thrust into the shoes of the players of a session that went wrong. We're playing 'substitutes' for others that have failed, and we essentially start over from the very beginning of their old session, after they had already gone into the Medium. We wake up in an unfamiliar house, wearing unfamiliar clothes, while an unfamiliar computer flashes colors from across the unfamiliar room with a VERY familiar spirograph logo. The introductory stage of the game, entering the Medium, has already been passed, and we are now in the Land of X and Y. Pesterchum has already been installed and your Chums are already listed as being the other players in your session. Also, the Client version of Sburb, when opened, will lead to your specific Server player. Everything is just as it left off for the person before you before everything began. However, while your fetch modus is the usual, it's filled with...stuff. Whatever this douchebag you're playing substitute for was into. So if your Strife Specibus happens to be something rare or unique (like puppets or fancy santas), pray this motherfucker shared some of your interests. Which they will have, because you've obviously been chosen to replace this specific player. We (as the writers for these characters) will of course have full reign over what's inside the new house, as well as what they prototyped before heading into the Medium. However, the necroprototype information for the previous sprite has been replaced with the dead previous player.
This is simply what the Sburb Glitch FAQ describes. Of course, if the majority of you feel that a change is in order, feel free to state your opinions.
EDIT: LL -> Thank you for the compliment, but yes, we're at our maximum. Unless everyone else decides that they want another player, of course. I'm pretty good with compromising.

At least from looking at the comments in the Glitch FAQ (are those cannon?) clothes and other personal items (like Ness' deck, hooray) are kept, and you do keep your strife card (shunted back to a basic version of the weapon). Alchemized and plot-important items disappear, and glitched items or items that were created via exploits may disappear. Apparently the majority of personal items (i.e., important things brought from your original home) end up as dungeon loot.
Again, though, this is stuff in the comments, which GGTG does seem to treat as cannon when they're not absolutely silly.

So, galvinStarlight and I have drawn up ASPECT DIFFERENTIATION METAMATRICES for our own aspects. I have attached mine for Time. Critique is welcome.

TG -> That is both easy to implement, publicly agreed upon, and clears up a lot of clutter that would normally plague an RP. It is done; all characters will have their own clothing and default personal items, and feel free to insert any old personal items as dungeon loot. It's convenient, and an all-around good idea. Thank you for your input.
CT -> Oh. My. God Spark Flash. Nobody cares. But seriously, good job and all. You sort of have free reign over what the aspect of Time entails since that section of the guide hasn't been written yet (wow the Time aspect is late again what a surprise).
EDIT: Alright, guys. We're pretty much set, but there's a few things we need to take care of. First would be deciding who the previous player was, as this will be the personality of your sprite. You don't need to post this, but just keep it in mind when you're doing your introductory post. Second is who gets what duties. Obviously our Space player will be getting Frog Breeding and Forge Stoking, and the Knight (of Rain, in this case) is sort of the designated helper during the frog breeding section. Ectobiology we'll have to decide between ourselves. Third is Land Familiars. Again, no need to post, just keep it in mind. Fourth is Consorts, and what the hell they're going to be. Think, don't tell. Maybe it'll be a fun surprise. Fifth is your Denizen. Snakey thing, with a not-so-snakey head.
Anything else you guys can think of that we'll need to get straight before starting?

The only thing I can think of is personal interests, but that will be taken care of in our initial posts, I imagine.

So if we have everything down (seems at least all things covered by the spreadsheet are there), do we... start?
