AE: but you can still get a picture of an average world by taking the mode of what is true from the world experienced. and given that "children's card game hold phenomenal power" is not a common trait of any world, I feel safe saying it is not average. AE:Just as I admit the major religion of my native world is not normal, due to not depicting either sources of corruption anywhere, instead alchemizing to produce things with aspect charges.

GM: I swear I read that as "religion focuses on alchemitizing things with aspect charges". GM: Good thing I reread! GM? And yeah, apparently "light guns" should only make a white flash on my game screen, not come from the light gun itself in my world. aGm: Anyways, where is your general location like?

AE:some suburban place. AE: looking out the back, it has swamp-like terrain nearby, so it's probably hot and humid out. AE: by the six, i hate the heat.

GM: This is a new world, a whole new universe. GM: Welcome to sburb. GM: Welcome to the new extreme. GM: Not to sound rude but i have always wanted to say that last bit.

AE:speaking of the Dreaming, don't expect any help from me on that front. AE:i'm not much of a sleeper, so my dreamself has failed to do anything but lie their in a perpetual coma. AE:seeing how I don't plan on sleeping more, this is unlikely to get fixed any time soon.

While they were talking, you searched your room more. This time, you found something- a small alcove under a shelf containing some sort of puzzle cube, and a note reading "Solve this to gain exit. -GT"
You read what went on. Right, right, you posted about your abilities...
TG: As to opening the door with my "thingy", presuming you meant a fortuitous event of Duel Energy power, it does not seem likely; it is, of course, quite temperamental, and will attempt to "challenge" me as much as it does aid. TG: Meanwhile, I presume you made the short logical leap that I attempted to headbutt the door. That did not work either. TG: Yes, there is a window. That could be built off of. TG: It seems my predecessor was into puzzles, as I discovered a custom puzzle cube from which a distinct rattle can be heard inside. It came with a note reading "Solve this to gain exit. -GT" TG: From this I can reasonably surmise that they have locked the key inside this box, perhaps as a way to "keep the mind sharp", as it were. TG: Or perhaps they were a replayer on their way out, ready for one last spit in the face of SBURB, rebounding to the next players by sealing me in here. TG: I can certainly attempt to find out upon meeting my Sprite.

AE:the fact he left an indicator of his identity would suggest the latter. AE:if it was for himself, he wouldn't need to label the message. AE:unless he has anterograde amnesia, which would also explain the need to keep himself sharp.

TG: Right. TG: Both seem like they would be troublesome for our session. TG: A spiteful sprite, or an amnesiac sprite, would both be unproductive or even detrimental to the state of our session.
You examine the cube, and begin manipulating the various plates and surfaces on it. It behaves like a complex, three-dimensional version of Gridlock. Luckily, you're not a native Mind player for nothing, and soon the bottom of the cube swings open and a key drops out.
One key.
A note flutters down out of the box. You catch it and read the words.
TG: "One key down. Three to go. V then V then V then V, VII by IX. -GnTe" TG: A trickster, this one is.

LL: Hmmm... sounds like a math purrblem, likely a combination to a padlock or a safe. LL: Is there somethin9 like that in the room?
