Ah yes, clearly some kind of code or symbol used. While you have no clue if any of your ideas are good, being a native rain ensures you have plenty of them. Of course, right now nobody has the benefits of multiple bodies with which to accelerate process of elimination, but the principal still applies. ALL logic puzzles can be brute-force solved with enough time.
AE:Well, let's first step back and look at all possible clues AE:series of numbers (5,5,5,5,7,9) AE:new letters, possible just what is claimed as initials overall(NE, total have GNTE) AE:first possibility: these clues point to a specific phrase of a specific page on a specific book. almanacs are commonly in long series enough, and are labelled in roman numerals. AE:the title of the book might be hidden in the words of the signature. since it can be an anagram of GENT, it might be sn indication to look for a physical copy of the mannerism faq. AE:since their is a difference in capitalization, it might be the NE is important. it might indicate a section of where you are you can find the object in. AE:if all else fails:how well can you climb? AE:you said there's a window, you could try just climbing to ground level, then come back and just use abilities to blow past it/through it/around it later, now being locked out of the room.

GM: Vii by ix means 7 by 9, which is 63. GM: I have no clue what v then v then v then v means, could be add or something. GM: And i only guessed you bumped your head because one does not simply put a 9 in text when screaming. GM: And your friend... It's like having the key BEHIND the lock. GM: Or punching a zombie. GM: Or attempting to read a dictionary in one sitting. GM: NOT VERY HELPFUL.

LL: ...one does not simply put in a 9 in text while yellin9. Did you not notice my 'quirk'? LL: Anyway, 5 then 5 then 5 then 5 could mean 5^4, or 625. ...still no idea what that could mean. LL: Bluuuuuuh... I'm actually kinda tired... I mean, the sun is up... LL: Can dream me pick this back up? I mean, I could just carry the laptop around on Purrspit...

GM: You are the exception. GM; Not the rule. GM: Quirks involving nines don't count. GM: And another thing for the fives could be programming, 5 THEN 5. GM: I'm not the super thinker here! I was heart!

TG: Climb? TG: Even if most of my physical stats were not similar to that of an elementary school child, the outer wall is flat, with no ledges or even ornamentation. TG: It is quite possible that this clue is referring to the bookshelves lining every wall of the room- quite possibly, the key is in a book (likely an almanac or encyclopedia, as suggested), and the clue refers to which book. Though how to interpret the clue is the problem... TG: Or we could be following a red herring, and the solution could be something completely different. TG: Finally, Calico- I should inform you of another difference between humans and trolls. Humans are diurnal, meaning they sleep at night and are active during the day; for as long as we are on Earth that will apply, and planets of the incinisphere are, in my experience, designed to brighten while their player is awake and darken as they sleep. It would be best to attempt to get used to such a cycle. TG: The sun of Earth is less harsh than that of Alternia, and should not harm your eyes, I believe?

GM: I'm going to go and capitalize upon our "shit isn't happening yet" situation. GM: Going to purchase things. GM: Anybody want a specific snack once we enter the medium? GM: Also, I really should check this place out a bit more, all I really did was enter rooms so my server player will be able to see.

LL: Well, yeah, I know what 'diurnal' means, it's still weird bein9 awake durin9 the day... LL: Plus, if YOU were only awake at ni9ht, it'd hurt your eyes re9ardless. LL: ...what's Alternia? My planet was Befurus. ..oh, whatefur... LL: Anyway, I'm 9oin9 to sleep. Sorry, 9uys. LL: Dream Calico will be back to you in a second.
lucidLeonine [LL] ceased responding to the memo
You hop into bed and go to sleep. You wake up a second later in a room that is, unsurprisingly, pretty much the other room if everything were covered in gold, and are wearing your PRECIOUS PROSPIT PRINCE PAJAMAS.
You float over to the gold laptop and log back in to Pesterchum.
lucidLeonine [LL] joined memo GENERAL MEMO
LL: Okay, I am on Purrspit! LL: I'm 9oin9 to 9o explorin9 if no one minds. LL: If you have requests fur me to do, or somethin9 to say to me, I'm still brin9in9 the laptop.
You grab the laptop - carrying things with your hands... weird - and fly out the window. Prospit seems pretty much the same, just with... fewer towers for the players.
You fly to the main planet and start looking around the base of the chain. Now... where to look... oh, hey, it's Ms. Paint!
CALICO: Excuse me... it's Ms. Paint, correct? PAINT: O-oh, hello, Prince Lyncis. Yes, I'm Ms. Paint... CALICO: No need to be so furmal, Ms. Paint, just Calico is fine. CALICO: Anyway, is there anythin9 9oin9 on on Purrspit soon? PAINT: O-oh, of course. PAINT: Well, the Masquerade is coming up in a few days... PAINT: It's also the day that the heroes are destined to arrive, so that's a nice coincidence...

LL: Um... hold on, I'll go check. Fur snacks... I dunno, sour cream chips are 9ood. LL: And I just asked Ms. Paint, and she says that we're not supposed to start fur a few days... LL: I'll 9o check the towers and be back in a second.
You fly back up to each of the towers and look at your coplayers. ...you suddenly feel really stalker-y.
LL: Okay, there's an anime-lookin9 kid that I can only assume is Ness. LL: There's a girl with messy hair in a room similar to the one you're in, 9M. So... I 9uess you're here.

GM: Okay! GM: I kind of prefered derse over prospit, i liked the color and the everybody that wasn't jack noir. GM: Well, i'm going to check if i have a phone in this place before venturing off!
You get off of the computer and exit the room.
>Jason: examine surroundings.
You are in a room with a really short table and pillows in place of chairs.
It has just occured to you that you are in Japan.
>Jason: Look out windows.
It appears to be Tokyo!
It also appears thatyou see what the problem will be.
There is a giant billboard side of building thing that has a bunch of Japanese characters on it, followed by the same thing in Katakana, then under that it says it in plain english "Godzilla watch".
Unfortunately, it appears to be serious.
GM: Ooooookay... GM: So i'm in japan... GM: And there is a very erious electronic billboard saying we are on Godzila watch here. GM: I don't know how seriously to take it.

PT: thats something you should take very seriously PT: if godzirra gets inside our game, we are fucked PT: if godzirra gets any of our players, we are fucked PT: i dont care if its a prank or whatever PT: be prepared to strife with a giant monster if youre going out PT: and only strife if there is no other option PT: scout out the area for monster-proof houses PT: or whatever PT: uh PT: maybe i am going overboard a little PT: but be seriously careful if youre going out PT: or dont go out at all :i

GM: I run yoyokind and the only yoyos i have are my original yoyo (i didn't improve it, i kept a captcha code made copyy and had it sorted away from the original) and a few dozen different squiddle yoyos. GM: If i see godzilla, i am utterly screwed unlesd i either get a bunch of better yoyos or attempt to swing all of them at once and be bigger or something. GM: I do not intend on fighting something the size of skyscrapers. GM: Seeking out safety is aso a bit of a conncern becauseit would imply there is something godzilla can't crush. GM: The only difference would be less stairs or less elevator music. GM: And then therr is bringing the timeline doomed people undoubtably in said shelter with me, and the bringing of my computer. GM: It is one without a power supply built in. It is a desktop one. GM: I am already stretching my file modus carrying capacity with my squiddles colection. GM: And what was your Modus? I want to know in case i wish to trade it if it is more... complex than mine. GM: I like complex things. Needlessly conplex, actually. Not sure why, get them faster than not complex things.

You check the drawers of the desk more thoroughly this time. You find something... well, it's not a D-Gazer, but it'll serve a similar function of an over-the-eye HUD. You clip it to your glasses and press the switch to link it to your computer, standing and examining the room with the clue in mind.
TG: Thank you for the snack-search- while that is not what I had in mind (I had thought of useful alchemy materials, mainly) but snacks are immensely useful in keeping morale high. TG: Please, plain chips (seasonings can be alchemized on to taste), as well as general sugary treats (it seems my stunted growth never allowed me to outgrow my sweet tooth (that was a joke)). Chocolate, especially that with caramel and/or marshmallow, is a favorite. TG: Yes, the hair... apologies in advance, though I am aware it is no social crime in your cultures, I feel obliged to say that I am sorry for a lack of covering to my hair. TG: (Uncovered Duelist hair is considered extremely rude on my home Earth, if you are unaware.) TG: Also, a warning to be issued- the points are extremely sharp, so please use caution around me, especially since they come to a normal height's eye level. TG: As to Japan? I am unaware of this "Godzilla", but another internet search indicates it is a fictional kaiju? A world where they exist could be troubling... I agree, keep prepared, however that can be done. TG: Japanese, or a functionally identical for general purpose equivalent, is a native tongue of mine, so help could be provided on that front if needed. TG: And another thing, though it may seem frivolous... if you see them, a large number of heavily-adjective laden pleases obtain Duel Monsters booster packs/tins/cards/whatever you can find. (I believe most worlds call it "Yu-Gi-Oh" rather than Duel Monsters.) TG: If I am up to date on how "normal" Earths work, you have a higher probability of finding them in Japan.

PT: i PT: didnt really think that through very well :c PT: but at least the message got through PT: be careful PT: and as for my modus PT: its stupid PT: its a giant easter egg hunt PT: you captchalogue an item, and it makes a physical egg hidden somewhere near where the item is destined to be used PT: you have to break the egg to get the item, which is also stupid because it often breaks the item too PT: and it makes the non-physical ghost image card PT: with the captcha code, and a ghost image PT: which is obvious, i guess PT: the ghost image can be kept, though, and there's no limit to the number of items you can captchalogue PT: it was fun on a boat when i only had, like, 150 feet to find the damn things, but PT: if you want it, take it PT: i always trade it for something else PT: but i guess sburb wants me to have it
