Some backstory: Sburb released a few years ago, and wasn't a huge success (reviews complained about there being nothing to do once the player ran out of grist, and there being no way to get more grist - I guess nobody figured out how to enter the Medium? Doesn't help that it launched at about $120, and couldn't be played without at least 2 copies, with the box recommending at least 4 copies).
Fast foward to two days ago - a friend of mine insisted that he wanted to play it. It was $2 per copy (guess which game nobody liked?), so I grabbed three copies and sent two of them to friends. One lengthy download later (seriously it was long as fuck), I've started up the client and have a server player. An apparently fairly standard entry follows - Hit cruxtruder, accidentally prototype knife (hopefully that isn't a problem), narrowly avoid prototyping myself, grab cruxite dowel (harder than it sounds - they're really goddamn heavy), carve dowel, make entry item, break entry item. Now here's where my problem comes in - I made it to my first gate after my server player figured out the magical thing that is the support pillar, but I'm running out of things that I can both carry (as I mentioned, I do not own a sylladex - I had never even heard of such a thing before I started googling for a way to get more weapons - and neither do my friends) and use to kill things (I keep losing and/or breaking my weapons). Is there any way to get a sylladex within the game, and if not, exactly how screwed are my friends and I?

Pretty screwed. Game needs filled cards sometimes. And sessions are meant to be even-numbered. I hope you all prototyped at least once. Sylladexes are meant to be in-universe inventories, but if you're lucky you'll get one. At least, you can duplicate them.

I prototyped a knife before entry, my server player prototyped a compass before entry, and while my client player hasn't entered yet, they did prototype a model of a robot. So it hasn't gone ENTIRELY wrong. Only mostly wrong.

That's nice. And, btw, ask consorts about "Heroes of Skaia" or something. You'll know classpects of session and, maybe, new f-ed up things.

I found a pile of fetch modi in what is apparently called a skaian magicant, but they all had weird names at best (QQQQQQQQ? seriously?), and a complete absence of readable characters at worst (yeah, I am not touching that again). Any chance that any of them are remotely useful? That's nice. And, btw, ask consorts about "Heroes of Skaia" or something. You'll know classpects of session and, maybe, new f-ed up things. According to all the consorts I asked, none of us exist and this is a zero-player session (which makes no goddamn sense).

And nothing else? What your lands are? Pre-Forge lands of mess or lands of and? Sometimes NPCs talk about something else like "True heroes". Do you have logs like these? These sylladexes are corrupted or unimplemented(which is worse, since Others or Angels only need your body and soul, and can be repelled), and chances of you getting slightly saner Others are pretty slim. I can read mess Others' translator leaves, but i don't think you'll decorrupt. You need quest beds for that.

My land is the Land of Pits and Traps, my server player has the Land of Caves and Towers, and my client player has the Land of Mountains and Bridges. I think a consort did say something about true heroes. Of course, that consort was also moonwalking into a wall, and on fire, so I had assumed it was just glitchy nonsense. And yeah, I didn't think there would be anything useful among them.

There usually is, but they are harder to understand than Cryptic players. True heroes are other players. Your session was so royally f-ed up that Skaia requested more players. This is called "high-level frog incestuous overlapping" by G-FAQ. Just wait. You won't miss them.

Couple of things happened:
First, I was contacted by someone going by "chemicalGiganticide" (what the hell does that even mean?), who gave me some drawings of a structure that apparently I'm supposed to put atop my towery-house-thing. I've passed them onto my server player, along with some extra designs of my own that should detach the structure and drop it into one of the deep-ass pits in my land (what, you expect me to just trust some random stranger who wants me to build a thing on my towery-house-thing, no questions asked? hahaha no).
Second, I raked in some truly absurd loot. "A sylladex", you ask? Of course not! An inability to alchemize seems to be one of the main themes of this broken session. But I did find more good weapons than I could carry - I guess the game kinda freaks out if you somehow manage to survive more than five minutes without a sylladex, because there were more bizarre non-weapons (who the hell uses a santa hat as a weapon? how does that even work?) than you could shake a stick at mixed through the badass swords and guns and stuff.
Finally, my client player discovered the quest beds, very hard, face first, and downwards. They're a Hero of Light - couldn't tell you her class, but the icon on her godtier outfit is definitely the Light icon. (apparently, slamming into a slab of rock hard enough to kill yourself hurts! I never would have guessed.)

I use vr2xsnta as a weapon. It is as useless as it sounds. I've never been good at ASCII, but it's a kind of pedestal thing. It'd hold something round pretty securely - I think you might be able to fit one of the spherical rooms that dreamselves start out in on it, or any other similarly sized ball. I've added my own mechanism that should drop the whole thing into a pit to the designs. I'm going to go ahead and not think too hard about that garbled text, thanks. I did find a couple of blank cards in a dungeon (same room as the weapons and non-weapons - I think it may have responded to my lack of strife specibi by just putting one item from EVERY possible strife specibus in the loot room), I'll try that on my phone once I'm done typing this. //EDIT: Tried it. It worked, but now my phone is stuck in a card and I have no idea how to get it out. Good going, me.// How is anything santa-related even a weapon? I mean, come on. It's a fat red-suited guy who gives children free stuff.

First, these pedestals are so easy to break you won't need selfdestruct. At least, make it manual-only.
Sorry, i'm corrupted a little. If you have Hope player, make him make some potions - Hope-infused potions heal Other corruption(And Void potions heal Angel corruption. Just don't use wrong ones. Just don't.)I'm sure none of you is a space/time player. Also, godtiering heals corruption completely, and living with Corruptor(Yep, that's possible. And Sburb never throws crazy Corruptors in the world, so that's actually useful.) makes one completely defended from corruption.
Just wave your card.
It's a cool weapon, actually(and yes, everyone calls xis first kind cool). It has MASSIVE damage. And i mean maxint damage. Good luck hitting someone, though, its firerate is so slow even time+light endgame santas need 1 minute of charging.
EDIT: Oh, and, btw, code for cards: 00000000 or 11111111.

I like to have a lot of backup plans, and for obvious reasons, it does require the input of a player (ideally me). Unfortunately, we don't have a confirmed Hope player. We know that one player is Light, and that I'm either Life or Breath (there was a symbol that could go either way in my Land - looked pretty badly damaged), but we haven't seen anything of the last player. Yep, okay, that works. I guess I can alchemize stuff now! Screw you, glitches, you can't stop me. 00000000 didn't change the dowel at all - it didn't make anything when I put it on the alchemiter's sensor, though I did lose a bit of grist. 11111111 worked. I am going to alchemize computers with EVERYTHING.

Lyfe is vertical and breath is horizontal, it's easy to check - just find your quest bed. They're indestructible.

Recheck your alchemiter pedestal- you probably made a Perfectly Generic Object; they're REALLY hard to remember.
