Thanks for reminding me about that. I'll have to reread Rogue and Doom to remember all the nuances of my role.

Something that I want to remark quickly, about the times that I'm capable of getting on, I'm in school, so I get off about 10-ish (all times in GMT-4, Canadian Atlantic time) at night and can't get on until about 4 in the afternoon on weekdays. On weekends, I can of course get on at about 9-10 ish in the morning.

Hup-ho, everyone! With Jana going through her first Gate, the Atomyk Ebonpyres have finally been generated! Remember that not every imp or ogre will have the quality of EVERY prototyped item, however. More like a random generation of the above items, with your world's creatures being more partial to your personal sprite's prototypings. Coming across an enemy that has been prototyped with EVERY item will probably be both rare and dangerous, especially if it is an ogre.
And remember: The first imp you kill will drop its Strife Specibus. Originally SBURB was coded so that EVERY imp with a weapon would drop its allocated Strife Specibus, but they don't after the first. Have fun!
EDIT: Actually, I remember the guide specifically mentioning that Strife Specibi can be stolen by Displacement classes (that means you, insuppressibleFrost) to mitigate this bug.
EDIT EDIT: For the purposes of game mechanics (bluh bluh), TG's prototyping will give some enemies the weapon/armor combob, as well as their attacks draining from both your Health Vial AND Pluck. It will not be huge amount, but the more damage dealt, the more Pluck is drained. Gel Viscosity effects the amount drained as usual, so unless you have an embarrassingly low amount of Lad/Lasspluck, you'll generally pass out from blood loss long before running out of Pluck.
EDIT X3 COMBO: Right. The Atomyk Ebonpyre generation only lasts until the player in question has reached their first gate, after which it reverts back to normal terrain. At the moment, that means Jana's house is no longer sitting on an Atomyk Ebonpyre. Shame, since she seems like one of the few in the party that would actually be able to handle it.
ALL OF THE EDITS. ALL OF THEM. Really these edits are for the sake of not double-posting, which always annoyed the hell out of me. Though all of these edits are probably annoying as hell to read, so...the circle of stupidity is complete, I guess. Anyway, I was thinking about your offer to make sprites, DD and TG, and I actually wanted to try it out for myself. So, you know, I made one. And it's pretty shitty, but whatever. It was pretty easy though, and kind of fun. I think everyone would probably enjoy trying to make their own sprite! What do you guys think? Want to have a go at it?

Blargh, my skills with the Illustrator are nowhere close to being able to do that. Also, just for the record, TG, I as a player have no issue with your liking Yu-Gi-Oh. I think it's actually pretty cool, and I have some fond memories from when I used to play. I just thought it would be fun for Don to rag on Ness about it. Tangential but relevant thought: When we're renovating, is that 100 build grist the same 100 build grist he use to alchemize, or is it in a separate pool? Also, pastebin link for the memo here: pastebin.com/Y83ikfGx

Oh, no, I didn't believe that you were personally doing that. Ness just really, REALLY likes Duel Monsters, and does NOT like anybody ragging on it.
Also yes, the server player is building using the Client player's grist stock.

I has a question.
Would Ness summoning a monster on his Duel Disk (as in, literally having Raging Flame Roc appear in the house before him and potentially flying up to the first gate on it) be stupid and unreasonable?
Would it be less unreasonable, if the response the the first is "yes," to be able to do so after some alchemizations of his Duel Disk?

Alright, for that, let's get into some alchemization theory.
At the moment, Ness has a duel disk replica from the anime. It's a piece of plastic used for holding a deck of playing cards in a marginally fancy and showy manner. It barely even constitutes as a Strife weapon, really, so yes, it would be breaking quite a few laws of physics to be able to actually summon creatures with it.
However, Ness is the Waste of Dreams.
Dreams represents ordered creativity in a complex system, as opposed to Rain which represents boundless creativity in a complex system. The 'Physical' (ie [Externalization] of the aspect in question) manifestation of Dreams is transparent, glass-like constructs, such as those produced with Dream players' signature ability, [Living the Dream]. Obviously Ness has yet to receive any Revelawesomes, and thus be able to use any ability to create said constructs. Actually, since Dreams is essentially powered by creativity and originality, attempting to create a Duel Monster manifestation with [Living the Dream] would probably fizzle horribly, since he isn't even remotely trying something new.
But I digress.
Now that we know what the elemental manifestation of Dreams is, I'm going to draw attention to one of the more obscure player stats (one that typically can't be seen without an ability scan), called Transmutancy. Transmutancy is a statistic that slowly raises as a player preforms alchemy session, and is set to a default unusually high number for the Witch, Mage, Heir and Ward titles. Void players have this stat set to zero by default. Anyway, the Transmutancy stat effects a player's chance of alchemizing an item with elemental properties. In GodsGiftToGrinds' own words, "they do magic things related to your aspects".
Taking these two facts and awkwardly forcing them together like two puzzle pieces that you've been frustratingly wrestling with for the last two hours, we have a chance of Ness being able to alchemize an item (in this case a duel disk) with the elemental properties relating to his current aspect, Dreams. Since Dreams' Elemental Manifestation is transparent dream constructs, it doesn't seem to be too far of a stretch for the theoretical creation of a duel disk that summons a transparent glass construct representation of the card 'played'. Just remember that Dream abilities become steadily weaker with repetition, so the first time a monster is summoned it might be a fitting representation of the picture on the card, but after a few uses it might be as meek and useless as, let's say, a Watapon.

Sorry man, we don't. We're already a fair way in with no chance of a new player joining the chain as far as I can see.

Ah, sounds about right. Which also creates the cool fact that he'll have to save his summons for emergencies. Also of course, combinations count as a new thing apparently, so even if, say, Raging Flame Knight alone won't work as well the second time, "Raging Flame Knight throwing Raging Flamebombs" and "Raging Flame Knight equipped with Salamandra" are both new things. Although come to think of it, if he could somehow subtract the "card" from both of those, they would probably remain Duel Monsters things and probably fit into Duelkind and be awesome.

Sorry about all of the consecutive posts, but a little thing about your first encounter with an imp, UM- it's only got a combination of some of the prototypings, all 7 is stupidly rare. And one of those is almost certainly your own, E.G. the mustache.
Also, is the teacup arm cannon on imps a cool thing?
